Casa Indigo Hotel

It is a beautiful property and the concept is very nice, the only downfalls are the beds (hard as a rock) and shower needs to be deep-cleaned or be remodel. Breakfast, excellent, good staff service.

Parking is not part of the hotel, but a block away. Very inconvenient, specially if it's raining and you a lot of bags

The location was ideal for walking to town and seeing sights. We lost a phone while there, and staff were helpful to us to look for it. However we looked under furniture where a very thick layer of dust covered the floors, never been swept under the beds or dressers. Don’t stay in Room 75 until they correct the shower plumbing as the odor is extremely offensive. Breakfasts were very good, juice and fruit and bread are self serve, eggs are served if you ask for it. Generally we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel.

The hotel has retained the rustic charm while updating the essential infastucture, such as, all new plumbing fixtures and electrical outlets.

Everything was neat and clean. Convenient to transportation. Good breakfast.

The property was nice needs some app dates the bathrooms need some up date, other wise is really nice hotel good location.

The location, service and breakfast was great. The only thing they need to work on is the bathroom cleanliness. The shower head was rusted and the water was everywhere. Also the smell of the drain was intense.

Nice old historical hotel in central town

Don't forget your earpods, this place is noisy... We stayed in two different rooms in different sides and floors of the building and both were extremely noisy. They should provide complementary earpods. Other than that, the breakfast was good, friendly staff and good location. The building is nice too.

Good location walking distance to center. A beautiful park just across the street.

Lovely decor, very attentive and kind staff, clean, good breakfast which was included. Only but was that noise travels easily through walls/doors/windows. As long as neighbors go to bed and wake up at the same time as u do, nk issues. Our neighbors were awake past midnight chatting and walls did not mute this. Must be material used for construction (adobe?). Unfortunately, not much hotel can do but ask patrons to be mindful.

It is a small hotel, well situated, the staff is nice and helpful close to many museums. The main problem is the noise.

Good location across from a lovely park and close to center. Unique medieval-like interior. Comfortable bed and storage space. Would recommend this hotel.

Well located only a few blocks from main plaza. Clean and tidy. Nice staff. Good breakfast The room has everything you need. The shower was clogged, but that seems to be the norm in Mexico Comfortable hotel I would stay again

We almost didnt book Casa Indigo because of some negative reviews...but I am glad we pushed ahead and went in our own direction...First...Casa Indigo isnt the Ritz or Hilton...it is a traditional San Cristobol hotel...in a old area of town, just a few blocks from the centre...which is a huge bonus!...across the street is a beautiful park and Amber Museum....driving in San Cristobel isnt for everyone...quite confusing but Casa has secure parking just around the corner....Second....Arturo the manager and all the staff are amazing...very helpful...polite...accomadating...enough said....Third...breakfast was no frills but eggs, freshly chopped veggies...hot tortillas, coffee, fresh fruit...very very nice..and the lady who prepares, was super nice....the room was comfortable, clean...yes it is an old place and even the keys are like they came from a castle, but this is the charm about Casa Indigo...Lastly, the price is unheard of, for this location...at least half of what any other place goes for...we spent 2 nights and wish we could have spent another, as San Cristobel has a magical feel and is so different from any other place we have visited in Mexico!

I sat on bed when arriving at 12 midnight...bed collapsed! Nobody around to fix it. Very strange. Slept aideqays on top half of bed
