Suites Colibrí

Just north of downtown Oaxaca = much more quiet at night. Easy walk to Zocalo. Large room and bathroom. Comfortable king bed. Four levels with elevator I would stay here again.

The suites were very large and super comfortable, quiet and comfortable. The beds were perfect. The bathrooms were large. The staff were very professional and helpful. A super comfortable stay!

Positives: When they say the room is guaranteed, they mean it. Arrived VERY late due to on road situations, but the room I reserved was still awaiting my arrival...no issues. Staff was courteous and welcoming, especially at the late hour. The air conditioner was the quietest I’ve “never!” You would never know it was working except for the cool air and the light on the panel. Ample plugs and WiFi was good. Negatives: Evidently, not very well known, the taxi driver didn’t know where it was located. Located just off the main road entering Oaxaca. The inside metal cover of door knob was broken. The shower door didn’t latch closed. No refrigerator. No clock. Not a major thing anymore, but I still like to see one. The sheets were “stiff?” But the bed was comfortable. Summary: not sure the budget price outweighs the negatives, but for the piece of mind alone that they won’t give your room away or change the kind of room reserved, it may be worth a stay.

Good place to stay in Oaxaca. Rooms are spacious and very clean. Staff were courteous and helpful, though knowing some spanish was critical to communication. The hotel is situated walking distance from the main bus station, thought it can be hard to figure out if using google maps. Basically make a left as you exit the station, Cross the street and turn and make a left to next the next street. You will pass a market and see the Colbani Restaurant on the corner, where you will eat breakfast if included in your booking. Make a right and the hotel is up the street on the left hand side. Breakfast by the way at the restaurant is great. There is a coffee maker and small refrigerator in the room. Wifi connection was great. I really enjoyed my stay.

Great hotel; it was very clean, quiet, and very close to the city

We've enjoyed el Colibri before. It's convenient for our visits to the city. The price is not super high. Their restaurant is nearby and quality food and service.

The place is close to many restaurants, the Central Bus Station, and many attractions. The parking is a bit tight, but manageable to get in and out. Staff is friendly and the room was clean. I'd definitely stay there again.

The hotel did not recognize the free breakfast. :(

Very good value and conveniently located. It's not fancy but very adequate for a couple. Restaurant Colibri is 1/4 block from Suites and has a very good menu. It is more up-scale than the national chain restaurants and certainly better meals for reasonable prices. We've stayed here many time the last 8 years.

Todo muy bien, ubicación, seguridad, estacionamiento y el personal muy amable siempre, solo las almohadas un poco duras pero fuera de eso muy bien en general.

Es un muy buen hotel bien ubicado, con mucha limpieza y comodidad, también su restaurante es muy bueno y cuenta con estacionamiento muy seguro. Lo mejor de todo es la atención de su gente. También cuenta con servicio al aeropuerto.
