My stay at the Vivo Resort was amazing, the only slight inconvenience was the road to get there was a bit confusing and a little bumpy. However overall the staff was very friendly, the food was quite delicious, the rooms are amazingly beautiful and clean, the private beach was very calming and gorgeous, and I felt very safe during my time there.

Pros: Beautiful quiet and relaxing resort, very clean, 3 pools including a children’s pool. Cons: Far from everything, the road to the hotel is a dirt road that’s very bumpy, beach is not swimmable.

You have to remember this is an underdeveloped area. It’s quiet, uncrowded, with an awesome restaurant ( Ernesto), and beautiful view. Serene, surrounded by mango groves, cattle farms. But you can’t bathe in the ocean ( currents too strong), can’t go anywhere in town unless you spend 50$ for 25 min back and forth trip.

This property is an area that has no developed road. It is hard on a compact rental car to get to it. No wifi available even though they state that they have. It’s nice in the sense that it’s right on the beach. But the beach is not a swimmable one. The waves are too strong. In addition, they overcharge at checkout then state it’s a WiFi issue. But to not worry it’ll resolve. Nope. Months out and they refuse to return the $300 overcharge unless I give them bank information despite having paid with a credit card and asking them to please return it, the same way they charged it. Service was horrible. Would not recommend to fellow travelers.

The resort is really nice, but it is in the middle of nowhere with a 25 minute drive to get to town, and half of that drive is on a dirt road. The wi fi was terrible, and the cell service was also terrible. The food was excellent in the one restaurant, and less expensive than most resorts.

Simply stated: this property is very peaceful in a beautiful setting. We had the 3 bedroom palapa room, which was nice. We had 3 kids, 10,11,13 yrs. The blinds were in need of replacement, the palapa was in need of daily cleaning, but overall the room was comfortable & had what you needed. Bring boxed food, it helps. You can order groceries and have them brought to you at the resort. There’s a small store on site. Restaurant is good, but limited and does not change daily. The pools are nice, lots of chairs in the off season. The beach is serene and beautiful. The hotel location is amazing, especially if you enjoy less populated. With the visit.

Hotel is nice, Rooms are more like condos with kitchen. Hotel is quiet and far from downtown. Bad road from the main street to the entrance of the hotel is long and pretty bad. Hotel is good. Food was good.

Property is nice. Pools and everything clean and good. Service is ok. The front desk person needs to be more pleasant. Perfect place to stay and like to chill. Quite a drive into town to the clubs, but worth it. The drive back late was very safe.

To far from town and the beach isn't good for swimming at all anytime, to dangerous. I will never go back just because i can't swim in the ocean. Very clean place.
