Travelled Oct 2018. The staff were warm and friendly and bent over backwards to make my stay enjoyable. Jet-lag made me miss my morning breakfast and didn't wake until 11am. I showered and when I stepped out of my room, I saw that they had made up a special table for me and they made sure I didn't go hungry. Little spoken English, but it didn't hinder my ability to understand and be understood. The young gentleman even walked me to the restaurant he recommended for me for dinner. Truly wonderful service. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this Riad. It truly was the highlight of my entire stay in Morocco.

My friend and I spent one day touring Rabat which is a lovely city but the highlight of this day was the Riad Sidi Fatah, an authentic, beautiful bed n breakfast in the heart of the medina, right next to the big market.

After working with WhatsApp and Google translate, the owner and I were able to arrange pick up from Rabat airport. The fact that he was happy to go the extra mile was very helpful and reassuring. The location is superb for exploring the old medina. We will be back!

The Riad is lovely and in a lovely location. The cleaning staff were soo polite. Unfortunately my stay here was ruined as the young man who I believe to be the host Walid took a like to me. He offered me a massage on many occasions in which I turned down. He asked for number and Facebook, I didn’t give my number and told him I only had Instagram. I didn’t give my username but somehow he found me and added me. I ignored the add, he then always messaged me which I ignored. He messaged once again and would often send time standing outside my room. I felt soo uncomfortable by all this I feared for my safety and left the Riad early and spent my last night else where. A shame really.

I didn't like the fact that Walid, the young man that booked us into the place took a photo of both of our passports on his personal phone when we checked in I'M PRETTY SURE THAT'S NOT LEGAL. Breakfast was VERY poor for £59 for one night . cold coffee, no tea offered, 1 peach each, 1 crêpe each and 1 small danone yoghurt each and that was it.

Great location, but gave us the smaller average room. They had given our room to a young German couple. But it had a single bed in it too. No roof terrace facilities, two tiny chairs and table. No sofa, washing hanging in your face. Great! Breakfast ok. Slapped 2 fried eggs down on the table, not even asked which we would like. One each.. cheap! So basic, not even a £1 bottle of water supplied in the room, charged for it. Very dark room.

TL;DR: Bad place. Save yourself. Go elsewhere The riad was easy to find and was in a nice part of the Medina. That's about all the positives for this place. There was no one at the hotel who could properly speak English with us. No one even offered to take bags up to our room. Once we get to the room, there was a noticeably strong foul odor. In the washroom, there was no hand soap provided. The floor mat was filthy. The sink did not drain properly and would clog for several minutes, making it impossible to use it for more than a few seconds, without constantly taking breaks. The shower was even worse. It DID NOT DRAIN AT ALL. After a shower, there was a large pool of dirty soap water collected at the bottom. EWW! Had to step out of the shower and wash my feet again. The remote for the AC was missing so I used sign language to get a remote from staff. He gave me his own from the lounge area downstairs. Got the AC working, but a few minutes later the AC starts leaking; and I mean really leaking hard; large amounts of liquid. The dripping alone was enough to drive someone mad and obviously we couldn't sleep with the thing on. And since the AC was on top of the bathroom door, we'd have to use an umbrella to get in and out. Night time: people inside the riad talking/laughing loud and playing music until 1AM! Breakfast was pitiful; old bread and pancakes thrown in a toaster, from the fridge. Staff bathroom had no soap either, so imagine the hands that touched your food. Disgustin

The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The common areas are beautifuly decorated in a traditional moroccan style. The location is pretty good, although it was a bit difficult to find in the medina. I suggest you get a pretty good map before your check-in! The shower is very small and has no door or curtain, so the bathroom gets a bit messy. Also if you are a light sleeper, good to know that from the room you can hear sounds coming from the street and from the kitchen downstairs (it is pretty much the same for every riad in the medina though).

The riad was a pretty, private and clean place. It is located inside the old city so car cannot enter, luggage has to be wallked in for a distance. If raining you will get wet. The service is very good. Breakfast was good. However the room was very dark without enough lights creating a gloomy feel. Bathroom was without much amenity, shower was slow to drain.
