Simple but comfortable hotel with gated security and excellent front desk service and good breakfast. Very convenient for Rotterdam and The Hague, though a car is essential. Vlaardingen waterfront (a 30 min walk and with good parking) is a very pleasant spot for a drink or a meal.

The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. The food was really tasty, and the chef made some nice meals while I was there. Unfortunately this is not a place for a businessman like myself. The rooms were very old; and the window doesn't even have a black-out curtain, just a net curtain; so when another guest was stood having a cigarette on the balcony in front of my room, I could see him and he could even see me laid in my bed. Also the stairs to the rooms are not lit up; so very dangerous going up and down the stairs to my room. In summary a motel ok for local workers; not for a business trip.
