The hotel is a nice place we'll run . I know they are trying to get planning permission to build a new hotel on site. It's badly needed as this is the only hotel in hulst . It's a fine hotel for a a few days stay , friendly and comfy beds . Nothing not to like .

Friendly and attentive staff, great breakfast and you can even fry your own eggs. Only thing is access to the upper floors either via a narrow spiral staircase or a rickety lift. I would absolutely stay again and loved the walk along the ramparts and some great beers in the restaurant next door

The room was excellent, the little step to room 101 was a bit higher than expected, But we got on alright with it. Only bit disappointed I was with we came from England and organised the room with intention to eat there close by, I was told there was a restaurant next door they work with and there wouldn’t be problem, unfortunately on the night this restaurant could not accommodate us, maybe they could have suggested for us or them to book a table. We managed to go nearby in an other restaurant. Overall a good clean Hotel and a very comfortable bed. Adrian & Annabelle Straatman Wyberton Boston Lincolnshire

Friendly staff. Very Clean. Very basic limited breakfast. Noise from neighbour rooms. The corridors are like labyrinths with stairs going up and down without windows. There was a fire alarm and it was difficult to find out. All doors closed. No marking to show the way out. It should have been at at foot height. I came to a dead end and had to go back. Luckily the lights were on, otherwise I would have been trapped. If there had been smoke, I would not have found my way out.

The hotel is in a good location just outside the old town. The staff were very welcoming. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The stay was rounded off with a very good breakfast included in the price. If you are planning to stay in Hulst I can recommend it.
