Beautiful place to stay

Well located very close to metro stop Bullwijk. Outrageous prices for the rooms, the parking and the buffet breakfast. Save money on breakfast and walk 2 minutes to Ikea for excellent choices and unbeatable prices. Hotel itself is fine, rooms nice and spatious.

Nice room, staff friendly, Easy transport links

Easily reachable by metro, but probably a bit far out for us. Nothing around the hotel, bit of a building site. Check in was a bit impersonal, even though reception staff were there we were prompted to check in online. Fortunately there was a fridge in the room so we bought things for breakfast. Nevertheless we had fun in Amsterdam and highly recommend going to the De pipj area for breakfast.

Everything was excellent. The breakfast was good. The room was really big.

Close to the train to the city and the airport. Within walking distance of concert venues.

Close to tram station. Very clean. Some restaurants close by. Not sure how I feel about checking myself in and having to make my own key cards. Felt a bit impersonal. Amsterdam was having a heat wave and the air conditioner kept turning off while we were sleeping. Even the fan so it was just very hot dead air. I would wake up drenched in sweat and nauseated.

Hotels in Amsterdam are expensive, especially in central Amsterdam. Decided to stay further out at Hotel Levell near Bijlmer ArenA. Location may not be the most convenient and there is no convenient stores nearby unless you go to Bijlmer ArenA, one metro stop away. Considering the price and it's cleaniness, this is still a good choice when in Amsterdam.

The hotel was not the cleanest (sheet had a black spot and pillow had hair on it) and the staff was not very friendly. I noticed that housekeeping came (as the bed was made) but the sheets were not changed (same spot was still present). Kind of close to the metro station and a 15 minute walk to the stadium, which is the only good thing about this place. The doors don't have a peephole and a second lock, which made me feel unsafe. I would not stay here again.

Clean and big room and very central located

This hotel was excellent in every way. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, I would definitely recommend it.

Very clean room and a very comfortable bed. Guys dumpster diving in the parking lot, others smoking weed at the door and the 3 policemen escorting someone out of the hotel as I arrived was not so nice.

Hotel is in a good location and hotel staff were great. Reasons I didn’t give 5 stars -fridge had strands of blonde hair in it and it had red goop in it. -parking is €25 a day (approximately $30 US). Seems like the hotel is trying to double charge you if you stay there. My last day I was parked for less than 12 hours and still had to pay full price.

Clean and comfortable

I had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Lovell. Check in and out was seamless, room was clean, and the aircon/heating was spot on the rooms! Would definitely recommend. Thank you!

This hotel was ideal for what we needed. Rooms were nice, clean and maintained. All staff that we encountered were happy to help and polite. Metro its just around the corner from the hotel so it was only 20 mins to the center. There was road works happing outside the hotel but we never heard them. We did have some noisy neighbours the first night but other than that its nice quiet hotel.

This hotel was excellent and the staff was really welcoming and friendly from the moment we stepped foot into the building. The rooms and corridors and all round the hotel was very clean and as you would expect. The breakfast was really nice and there was so many different options to choose from which is a bonus for staying at this hotel as some dont offer no where near as much as other places. I would just say that i would of preffered a normal pillow and a couple of them (Personal Opinion) as the pillow that is provided is square and small. Apart from that it it was a beautiful hotel and very close to the metro for easy travel around and to amsterdam centraal. I would highly recommend staying here and i would definitely stay here again in the future
