The van gogh is easy to access by public transportation and can access so much of the city from it's front door. Right in the heart of the museum district with a very short walk to that part of the city. The staff were welcoming and friendly and the room , while small,had everything we needed and more the balcony being an added bonus.

The hotel is 5 minutes to its namesake, Van Gogh. Tram is around the corner. Dead quiet unless the school across the pedestrian only road is on recess in the afternoon. Super area. No parking nearby that I am aware of. Plenty of good food nearby.

Great location close to Amsterdam central & to all the major museums. The tram and bus are just a 5-minute walk away from the hotel. Area was very safe and it's just opposite the Van Gogh Museum. Staff was friendly and always ready to help. The toilet has been newly renovated but the room looked a little tired. All in all, it was a good stay.
