Didn't pay for the breakfast. Around €16 so bought breakfast at Haarlem train station and brought it back to room.

Great staff and nice area

Very nice hotel with large rooms. Beds were great, comfy with space to sit or work at a desk. Very clean hotel in great shape. Staff were very helpful. There is a breakfast for about €16 which we did not use. Be aware rhere is train station access at Bloemendaal Station, one stop past Haarlem Centrale. No need to pay €20 for a taxi from Haarlem Station to the Ibis. It is a 15 min. Walk to the hotel from Bloemendaal Station through a beautiful residential area. We use it daily to get around by train. Also few restaurants in this area, so unless you have a car, be prepared to walk or use Uber Eats. Probably would get a hotel closer to Haarlem in the future but not knocking the hotel. Quite good.

The room was very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was in a great location for us and we were very happy with our stay.

The breakfast was good and fresh with a variety of food.

Clean room, comfortable beds

Everything is absolutely fine. Clean room, nice helpful staff, breakfast is great, parking is okay. My only recommendation would be to have food available in the evening.

My fourth or fifth stay and the staff remain exceptional: courteous and professional. Asked for and received a room in a quiet part of the hotel. So, another very pleasant stay.

The receptionist are very friendly and professional

Cons: The bathroom light is on a motion sensor. Which means in the middle of the night if you want to use bathroom you get full light. It stays on for 15mins. No cooling -room stuffy and if you open window cigarette smoke wafts in. Pros: good condition. Solid breakfast.

Awoken to fire alarm… no one ever noted it was a false alarm.

Poor public transport options

This hotel is built alongside a busy road. The walk in to the center is 35 minutes.

This was very clean, with friendly staff. Not terribly close to restaurants or night life but walkable in 20-25 mins.

Great level of cleanliness in the room and the staff were very helpful. The communal areas were also very clean and pleasant to sit in. Good free coffee and hot chocolate for the kids. Our stay exceeded expectations. A short 10 minute bike ride into the centre of Haarlem.

Lack of customer service.

Nice room and bathroom. Very quiet in the hotel. Staff were friendly. However, our room was at the front of the hotel and the road is very noisy. There is no air conditioning or fans in the room, so at this time of year, it's too warm to shut the window. The rooms could benefit from a fan
