Very centrally located. We were able to walk to most areas around Amsterdam. Hotel was nice and clean. We especially liked the complimentary wine, beer, water, and drinks. Staff were also very friendly.

Super cool vibes here, excellent amenities and service. Great location and quiet too. We stayed on the blue floor room 61 & 62 and the rooms were great! Note: the shower is ‘in’ the room. It is frosted glass but opens right into the room which is a bit of a nuisance when travelling with friends, but we worked with it. We would totally stay here again and recommend it.

The third floor was a dark blue color making it seem very dark. The room being very small lacked a place to sit with my laptop. No chairs (window seat). I do not deem the Hotel a good value for the money. The staff was very polite and helpful.

The hotel is situated in a great spot, within 10 mins walk to the central station and the city centre. There is also a tram stop very close by for longer trips. The hotel itself was fantastic! The rooms were very clean and had everything we needed. The reception staff were always friendly. Baasad in particular really helped us at check in to resolve an issue that we'd had with our agency booking. Although it may seem a small thing to some, having free drinks and snacks in the lobby was something we really appreciated (glass bottled sodas are something we especially loved!) Overall we would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting an Amsterdam stay that is close to the action, but far enough away to be lovely, quiet and peaceful.

The Highlander was in a very central location. The hotel is updated and cute, I loved the free breakfast, snacks and drinks in the lobby. The rooms, even though I paid for a larger room, were extremely small, especially with a crib. There was also no way to get into the hotel with our stroller without carrying it up or down stairs. Otherwise, great hotel.

My family and I stayed here for 4 nights. The room was spacious and staff was very friendly. Bed was comfortable and loved the rain shower. The breakfast was alright…but also very convenient. Liked that they offered snacks and drinks throughout the day. My biggest complaint is that the room was extremely dusty and that it was very hard to sleep the first night due to loud street noise. It wasn’t until later on the second day that we realized the window had been open all along. It has been open prior to our stay. We slept so much better after shutting it the second night. I have a feeling that’s what caused the room to be so dusty. We looked under the bed and there was a ton of dust.
