Wonderful stay at this house just steps from Centraal Station (super easy by train from the airport) and right in the middle of city centre Amsterdam. Every touch included to make you feel at home while exploring the city. Roomy and comfortable, warm welcome and easy to work with David. New tech laundry just around the corner along with oodles of food choices and major tourist sites. Quiet, super walkable, right on a canal with great people/boat watching right out the door.

Very well located and easy to get to walking from the Central train station. Very clean but its really a guesthouse not a hotel. At an older age climbing “dutch” stairs with luggage can be tricky. Definitely recommended.

Property located near train station, DAM square, and many restaurants and tourist attractions. Host David is very helpful and made our stay comfortable.

Excellent location- room was exactly what we were looking for, kettle for coffee/tea. Very close to station and walkable to cruise terminal also. A little attention required on the overhead light.

The place was great. It was very convenient and we were able to walk to wherever we needed. The room was a good size and the bed was very comfortable. I would say that if you’re a light sleeper this may not be the spot for you. You can definitely hear the owners above the room when they’re walking and coming down the stairs in the morning, but if that doesn’t bother you (didn’t bother us) it’s a great place to stay!

Really nice place to stay in the densest part of Amsterdam. It's a short walk from the main train station and to tram services, and there is an endless variety of bars and restaurants in easy reach. Be aware that this property is immediately adjacent to one of the red light sections of the city, so if you're traveling with children, they might be seeing some naughty things.

Location and great size room and canal view

Rear upstairs great view with local architecture, very well prepared for travelers, coffee, dishes, some power adapters, etc. Awesome, Incredible local, great host. If you want to eat ar the Omelette place around the corner get there early, a line forms.

Perfect location, everything is on the doorstep. Great host, very friendly and helpful. Allowed us to leave our things there on check in and check out days. The room was very clean and had everything you could ever need. Given how close it was to all the nightlife you really couldn’t hear much which was great. Couldn’t fault it in anyway, if I were to go back to Amsterdam I’d 100% stay there

Good location. 17 steep narrow steps to get to your room and carry your suitcase, no lift. Not suitable if you have mobility issues. Owner lives upstairs, can hear footsteps every time and early morning. B&B as advertised, however no breakfast offered. Queried the owner, explanation is he cannot advertise accommodation under Hotel, instead advertised as B&B which can be misleading. Owner is friendly, overly priced. Not suitable for elderly people and with huge and heavy suitcases.
