Clean rooms, there is a trim 19 right in front

Everything was amazing!

The tram stop right across from the hotel was a major perk! The rooms were fine but was missing the iron and ironing board. Desk staff was super friendly and able to get items within an hour of asking for them. A bit away from the hustle and bustle of the main area but only about 25-45 minutes by tram/bus to most of the city. Nice area with a park across the street and some delicious food only a few blocks away. Property is drug and alcohol free in case that matters to you. Did find a plastic bottle under one of the beds when we forst went in so unclear o er how truly clean everything was but it seemed fine. Did not have the breakfast because it was 20€

Using a machine to check in was easy and convenient but also felt impersonal and as such we felt like we had no contact with reception staff. Room was large, comfortable and clean. Bathroom the same. Didn’t have breakfast as we felt €20 quite expensive especially for small appetites. There was a coffee machine in the room but we couldn’t work it (no instructions) and a very small supply of coffee pods and tea bags. There was also a coffee machine in the lobby area though (chargeable?) Location was good, away from the crowds but easy to reach the city centre.

The location is extremely convenient—the tram station is right outside the hotel entrance, and the train station is just a 15-minute walk away. There are also several restaurants and a supermarket nearby. In addition, we booked a triple room but were upgraded to a spacious quad room, which provided plenty of space. The hotel also has a dining area next to the reception, equipped with a microwave for guests to use.

The staff was friendly and the room was reasonably priced for a family of four. We chose to walk from the hotel to downtown Amsterdam, and it was easily achievable. Although, the trolley did stop right outside the hotel , which would have made the trip much easier. I would not hesitate to book this hotel again.

Large comfortable room, clean and well serviced. Hotel in a good position for the trams. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. Excellent breakfast.

I stayed at XO Hotels Park West from March 18–25, 2026, and it was one of the most frustrating hotel experiences I’ve had—especially considering the price The air-conditioning in the room did not work for the entire duration of my stay. Every time I called reception, I was told the same thing: that adjustments were being made and the room would cool within 15–20 minutes. This never happened. I had to keep calling repeatedly, only to receive the same response over and over again. By day 3, the room had become so uncomfortable that I had to request a pedestal fan just to be able to sleep. For a hotel at this price point, being reduced to using a basic fan instead of proper climate control is simply unacceptable. On top of that, I had to keep the window open due to the heat, which triggered my seasonal allergies and left me feeling unwell for the rest of my trip. The most disappointing part came at checkout, when I was finally told that the air-conditioning system was not working at all and that technicians were only expected to fix it that day. This directly contradicts everything I had been told throughout my stay. Whether this was due to poor communication or something else, the end result is the same: I was given misleading information for several days while dealing with an unresolved issue. The hotel gave a 10% refund, which does not come close to reflecting the level of discomfort, lost sleep, and overall negative impact on my stay.

Modern hotel with a tram station right outside, Less than 10 minutes from Amsterdam central via transport. Easy check in/out. Friendly and helpful staff. Room was big and clean. Definitely worth it.

Very clean, staff were friendly and was well located for what I needed.

The breakfast options were pretty decent, I really enjoyed my breakfast daily. We got the comfort double room which was great and spacious. I wish they had an on site cafe/bar , would have been a useful addition for the late evenings back from town. However, there is a tram stop right by the hotel which was a lifesaver. Affordable and lovely stay, would stay here again.

Hotel great, very modern and clean. Self check in worked really well. Free to use sage in room, beds really comfortable, Nespresso coffee machine great touch and breakfast also really good. Would recommend short tram ride into main Amsterdam and only a 10min walk from Sloterdijk rail station

The room was very spacious, enjoyed our stay, had a tram literally outside the hotel - very convenient, station was about 10 mins walking distance. beds were really comfortable! Will be coming back x

Clean spacious room. All the usual amenities.

Room was clean. Staff were lovely and helpful. 5 min train to Central station and 40 min tram to center. Has shampoo and body wash. Tv was big, fridge was clean. There is a Lidl 2 mins away which is helpful
