Comfort Hotel Trondheim

Just what I needed for a one night stay including the provision of a box to take breakfast away as I was catching an early train

Room was amazing!! Staff were incredibly helpful, and the breakfast was phenomenal for a buffet. Many options to choose from.

I am in Trondheim about two times per year and i always book at the Comfort if they have rooms. Friendly atmosphere, clean. This is all I need.

Nice hotel overall and easy to get around!

Well located and reasonably priced.

Hotel was very clean and staff was friendly and accommodating. Location was perfect for walking around sentrum and taking the bus. Breakfast options were also pretty good. Only downsides in room was the lack of closet and mini fridge.

It was very nice and beautiful hotel

Great room for one person, but really should have had one more chair. There’s only a tiny desk and a tiny chair, a few hooks and hangers. No closer, no drawers.

Perfect location to visit Trondheim’s attractions

I liked everything

I had a comfortable one night stay here. An easy walk from Trondheim Sentralstasjon and the town, everything was clean and tidy; my bed was comfortable, and room and bathroom werr spotless. The breakfast buffet had something for every taste and was served generously till 11 at the weekend (with noon checkout!) and staff were available and helpful. A bigger shelf by the bed would have been nice, and there wasn't much of a view, but that's about the only level I can pick holes in. Would happily stay here again.

There was no fridge, no hot water heater for coffee or tea, and no AC. Our room faced the afternoon sun and so the room was way too warm. The halls are gloomy and dark with carpet , so very dusty. The breakfast was awesome but disorganized. Thd drinks and food was located in one small corner so it was crowded. My family gave up and just walked away from breakfast because of this. There was nobody attending to the food so kids were cutting bread with their dirty hands slapping the baked goods. None of us wanted to eat that. We have stayed in less expensive hotels in trd where there were more amenities.

The breakfast was AMAZING. Very nice staff and clean room. I would definitely visit this hotel again the next time I am in Trondheim.

I recently stayed here for 10 days. The atmosphere is a bit like an upgraded Hostel, but with better food and rooms. Nothing wrong with that, there are different hotels doing exactly the same concept these days. Positive - Great location, nice breakfast, comfortable beds, big and quiet room, competitive price and smiley staff (but less helpful, see below) Negative - Was late and lost the first night without receiving any compensation or any other sweetener whatsoever (not even a free bottle of water) - There is no empathy or appreciation of the customer situation whatsoever (we would all like to arrive on time if possible). The hotel follows their contractual rules 100% (think public servants), is not willing to look for compromise solutions, doesn't want to think outside of the box for straight forward operational issues (such as a missing writing desk or chair, and is less willing to go the extra mile for a good customer experience. Also the hotel is a bit worn down and the room had some minor issues like a loose toilet seat, a door that not always locked automatically and blinking lights. Nothing major, but more attention to details would have fixed these ahead of the visit. Would I stay there again? Probably not, as I prefer a) a hotel that has better customer service at heart and is willing to go the extra mile if needed (which is often free). Also I like to feel assured that there is help at hand when unexpected issues arise (which they do from time to time).
