The hotel and staff were amazing, very friendly. Delicious breakfast every morning. Beautiful scenery outdoors as well. The room was simple but provided everything I needed. Great place to rest and recover for a few days. The sauna and pool were a nice treat too.

We had a great four day stay in Rondane Høyfjellshotell. Location is superb, super close to the amazing Rondane National Park with its beautiful mountains, amazing waterfall And lovely Walks. The hotel is very family friendly and all of us enjoyed the swimmingpool , jacuzzi , table tennis and biljard available free of charge . The staff was very friendly and serviceminded and food absolutely delicious . We had a quite lagre and Nice family room with two bathrooms, but missed a comfortable sofa to sit and relax. We all want to come back in the near future.

Wonderful hotel. Clean, large room with comfortable beds. The food in the restaurant was excellent. Staff was so helpful and knowledgeable about the area- hikes, etc. Would love to come back!

The pros: The hotel is in a wonderful setting in the mountains. The restaurant is excellent. There is a very large indoor pool (plenty long enough for laps). The first floor is newly remodeled with many nice places to sit. The cons: the elevator is broken and there are many floors to climb, and one is not allowed to pull up a car in front of the hotel. Upstairs, things are run down. There are wires hanging in the hallway. Our room (at least) was super-shabby, and there was peeling paint and black mold on the bathroom ceiling. Because the automatic lock was broken on the room with Mountain View that I had reserved months before, we were put in the family room overlooking the back service area. Although the manager gave us one free meal in the restaurant, it isn’t possible to make up for the impact of the bad room on the total experience.

This was a nice hotel, staff were friendly and helpful. The only thing that let it down was a virtual reception desk, but no signage in other languages that told you so, the only way we knew was by asking a passing staff member. The breakfast was excellent, but you could not eat before 8 am.

Great location, lovely views and perfect starting point for exploring the surroundings. Great food, both dinner and breakfast. Also a good size swimmingpool, which was a good spurte of hiking-motivation. A good feel to the whole place.

Good location. Good food. Hotel is tired and old. Obviously work is being done on it but it needs a lot of updating. Make sure you see your room before you commit. They are not good. Young inexperienced staff trying so hard and delightful but suspect senior management at fault here. Would not recommend.
