Scandic Voss

Very spacious and comfortable rooms. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast buffet.

Clean, comfortable room, huge breakfast buffet, Voss is a beautiful area. For the most part, staff were friendly but our check-in experience was not the best. My husband went in to check us in and find out about parking. The staff member was very flippant about parking, little direction other you can park anywhere on the street for free. She then wouldn’t check my husband in without me being there with my driver’s license. When we both returned to check in, I gave her my license and she did something with my license and her computer for a few minutes, then unceremoniously shoved a paper at me and told me I needed to fill in spaces she had marked with Xs. This included duplicating my phone #, which she pointed out was already entered on the sheet, but also included my driver’s license info. Not sure why she didn’t enter it into her computer, which was what she seemed like she was doing but she wasn’t exactly the nicest about it, like it was a bothersome thing. We finally got checked in and found our parking space several blocks away, on the street! I would not recommend this hotel on the basis of this experience and no parking, paid or not! This hotel seems geared up for tour bus customers and train access (immediately behind hotel, had its own entrance).

Very nice and clean hotel conveniently located. This time of year it did feel a bit like the staff was tired of tourists. Hard to get a smile put of anyone and due to tour busses that stopped here, they never seemed to have room for the hotel guests to dine at their restaurant in the evenings. You had to go somewhere else and on Monday evening it was hard to find anything else open.

Great hotel. Would highly recommend, breakfast was a great spread. Super close to all the outdoor activities.

Lift capacity is very small compared to the number of rooms in the building causing a long wait time and queue in the lobby.

Ask for a room facing the lake! Great place to stay in Voss. Works well if you don’t have a car because it’s right next to the train and bus station. Highly recommend!

This is a hotel that is actually on the train station. If you are on a night between trains, this is the place to be.

This is a beautiful and yet modern property. It has all the essentials that you could comfortably rest and enjoy some good time with your friends and family. Location-wise it is right off the train station (don't even need to get down the stairs or to the street). Staff are friendly and useful. Breakfast is standard scandic but also with slightly better selection. Worth every dollar you spent

Outstanding location and hotel for both summer and winter activities. Great breakfast. Most underrated town in Norway. Will com me back in the winter and stay here

Pleasant stay. Big hotel. Sauna super hot and quiet. Bar nice. Nowhere to dry/hang wet clothes

Restaurant hours in this hotel is a joke especially the dinner ending at 9 pm in peak tourist season! We could not get dinner when we areived at 8:30pm. I will not recommend this hotel just for this reason.

Very nice hotel. Easy to navigate around town from there.

Good location, both bus station and train station are in front and back of the hotel. Gandola station is just next door. Hotel breakfast is good.

Wellcome drink for kids and a nice swing to play for kids

Restaurant was nice. Lots of gluten free options with a separate table at the buffet.
