The weather was rough so we didn't get to swim on the beach. The place has lots of stray dogs which I think they owned, The foul smell of the dogs were circulating around the room and everywhere. The dogs are even stepping on the tables and chairs in the lounge area. It was a mess. The 60 steps staircase will really burn your fats hahaha. The shower is broken. The room was big though. The attendants were accommodating and allowed us to use their kitchen and utensils. Overall it was just a so so stay in Meaco.

Well, our stay at Meaco Hotel -Anilao was bad. Let me tell you why our stay was bad: The staff you need to call them from their room. They just don't care even we there unless you are going to call their attention from their respective rooms. They have 4 staff all in all when we were there and have their respective assignments I guess. The 2 girls staff were just busy using their cell phone all the time near their room area. They just don't care! When we arrived we were calling from the road because the location of the rooms is down the road. So were calling for a few minutes then there was somebody who came out the girl and I told her that we have reservation in the establishment and she said ah ok you are -----and i said yes. So, she said that breakfast is free but they don't offer food for lunch and dinner...then we ask if there are restaurant nearby the area and she said there is none only sari-sari store and you have to cook for yourself. And then i ask her if i can refund my bookings as they dont have food for lunch and dinner and she said no because i booked online. And then i said ok...then let's just buy food somewhere and cook here to survive and she said there charged P100 per cooking and i said ok no problem. Then we stayed... the following morning we were waiting for our breakfast to be served but nobody is around the kitchen or dining area that was around 7am already and then we wait for a while hoping that there is somebody coming to us to offer the breakfast as it is included in out bookings but nobody offers us we have to call their attention that we want to have our breakfast served already and take note we called their attention from their room omg.... I could not really believe with their staff the 2 girls. Then they cooked us hotdog and eggs for two days. Omg! The service was so poor i would say and they myst replaced their staff for them to have a good service and customer... it's so bad for the establishment to have that kind of staff in the resort. The room was nice but dirty plenty of spider web in the room. The bathroom was not clean and need to be repaired as their shower is broken already. The swimming pool was good but i just don't like their set-up that they allow the staff to swim even they have guest in the swimming pool. No privacy for the guest. The rooms is located down stairs you have to go up and down just to go out and buy the food from sari-sari store you have to do it by yourself they did not extend help to us to buy food. There was jellyfish during our stay and i was stung by it but its normal though just need to be careful. The place was nice but need a total restructuring of the staff i would say to have a good service.

The place is comfortable and quiet because me and my friends got it solo. Extra fees are very expensive. Their facebook page do reply to my inquiries but their answer is quite different from the hotel. Extra person charge is different from the extra bed charge. Cooking charge is expensive as well. Staffs are not so accommodating.

We stayed for 3 days 2 nights, besides the long stairs going down, everything was a-ok. We will be coming back to this place since this is the most complete budget hotel with pool, amazing view and car park.

Room is good just to sleep in, it wasn't clean and looks unfinished. The great thing though is they allowed us to check out late on our last day, and also items from their kitchen is easily accessible. The place has an amazing view too.

The hotel is clean, facilities are new, everything's quiet as we are the only visitor during that time. The shoreline is rocky (no sand). Staffs are all accommodating. We were able to snorkel and relax which is good.

This was our second time in Meaco and we really had a great stay. No other guests were booked so we had the place to ourselves. Pool and beach all in one place. Rooms are quite big. The staff were very nice. You can bring and cook food without corkage fee. No WiFi but its ok. From the parking, there's a stair with around 50 steps going down to the resort, so not suitable for pwds.

Rooms are very new, as advertised and clean. For the price, it is okay - you can easily spend 3x in Anilao for only slightly better. Issues I had are that the staff are not well-trained for hotel service. We had to ask for soap and shampoo, because none were immediately provided in the rooms. Our humble breakfast of spam, eggs and rice were cooked by a dude in a sleeveless shirt, shorts and slippers. This hotel needs to step-up its service game to be a good player in Anilao.
