Sofitel Lisbon Liberdade

Location is amazing. Staff is super nice and friendly. Property is in great condition. Room was great but didn’t have a view like in the pictures. We loved it would stay there again.

Very nice hotel in very good location

You can’t beat the location. It’s central to all the neighborhoods in downtown Lisbon, main train line is just a 5 min walk, and it feels safe. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only thing that could have made it better would be a pool but that said, there’s not much time for poolside relaxing when you’re out touring the city.

Certainly not a 5 Star....More like a good 3 Star or a poor 4 Star. Plugs for connecting devices almost non existent. Lobby had a smell. Gym was terrible.

Unexpectedly disappointed with customer service , housekeeping and the hotel itself. The hotels is well worned. The lift was always taking guests to the wrong level. The towels are grey colour like they are 100 years old. What upset me most. I left for meeting and put the “ do not disturb “ sign. Because I put my medicine in order to be taken on my pillow. As well as my clothes for another meeting. When I arrived I saw housekeeper moved everything. So the signed was completely ignored. I tried to call reception. The phone did not work. I had to go down and complained for both housekeeping and the phone. After that no e even bothered to come and apologize or check the phone. Moreover , check out is at 12 pm. I came from shopping at 11.25 to learn the my cards were disactivated. I went down and was told all cards are disactivated on check out day. To my question why as it was not even 12.00 noon. He did not answer. Unbelievable experience for such chain. Shame to be called SOFITEL 5 *.

Very nice staff who mostly fulfilled requests. A double shot martini for 34 Euros seemed demotivating for other drinks.

Typically Sofitels are amazing,this one not good.a 5 star hotel should have u booked at ck in time and bags should b in the room, also a 5 star hotel should always have adapters for repeat clients and the staff was not consistent with their smile or helpful attitude

This hotel is outstanding! The staff are warm and welcoming, the rooms are a super comfortable (the beds are a dream!), and the bathroom amenities were generous. Diptique lotions and potions are my favorite! The bartender gave me a lesson about port wine, and each evening we found chsmomile tea ready to brew before bed. Can’t recommend Sofitel highly enough!

The accomodations are not 5 Star. We checked in early (for a premium) after a long flight from N.America, staying nine nights. We purposely booked a larger luxury room but were originally given the smaller dimension room barely room for two suitcases with a miniscule wardrobe. We requested a move but alternatives were limited but took the only larger room which was dated and worn. I travel globally this was high on my disappointment scale. Hotel is in a good location but seems used by bus tours.

Great location, with Avenida Metro station across the street, and maybe 10 minute walk along pleasant avenue to downtown, Baixa district. Our first time in Lisbon, and great choice for first exploration. Staff couldn't be more helpful and pleasant, and nice quiet location. I felt a little guilty with my dowdy fleece and jeans and sneakers -- a lot of guests seem to make an effort to look a little more dressy. If that matters to anyone else. No one said a thing to us, I just felt self-conscious! The room itself is very nice and comfortable, and service is fantastic and friendly. Only deductions are for lack of electrical outlets for charging phones. USB 2 outlets do exist, otherwise only one adapter-capable outlet in the bathroom. USB 2 worked for us. A couple fittings in the bathroom were starting to come loose. I was very happy with the stay and glad we chose this property. Would happily repeat!

Great service but extremely outdated, feels very old. No plugs in the room only two usb port of the old ones. Needed to use the bathroom to charge anything we need to charge. Room and bathrooms excessively small
