Raffles Doha

Multiple issues. The room was beautiful but dysfunctional. Nowhere to hang wet towels in bathroom. TV in mirror in bathroom but remote control is in the IT dept. Can’t turn the tv light off without remote. Flashing lights on ceiling like a lighthouse beacon. The automated lights are ridiculous. When turn one light on, all the curtains in the entire suite open. Rollaway bed - asked for one at check in, then when taken to room (there was a cot there for my 1m tall three year old), at 2pm asked for it before 4pm. Still not delivered by 8pm. Call again and still not delivered until 9.10pm. Booked suite w balcony. Arrive to find the balcony door has a seal on it and a note in room saying it can’t be used due to maintenance. Call to request move to room where we can use balcony. Told that the suite we booked doesn’t have balcony which was inaccurate. Called me again and told we do have a balcony. I explained again that there is seal on door. Told me that is because of window cleaning. Man came to make us sign a disclaimer before would unseal the door, in case a cleaner was cleaning the windows. What a joke and waste of my time. Asked and was given late checkout at 3pm. Keycard updated. 1320 the day of checkout, phone call asking if we want a late checkout. Told checkout at 4pm. Key not working. Call at 1503 stating we had gone over checkout time. Staff were mostly incompetent and interrupted us with frequent, unnecessary phone calls.

Finally a legit 5 star hotel! I had an outstanding experience at Raffles Qatar in their Gulf Signature Suite. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the professionalism of the staff—they truly go above and beyond to make every guest feel welcome and cared for. The team is highly trained, attentive, and dedicated to providing the best service possible. Check-in was quick, efficient and the same attendant met me in the suite for completion of payment and extension of stay! We had daily laundry services and the team was extremely punctual. Special thank you to Abdullah Al Mamun who assisted with packing our laundry at the last night of our stay. The atmosphere is top-notch and the attention to detail in guest treatment is clear from start to finish. Every part of my visit felt luxurious and comfortable, giving me a true five-star experience. I highly recommend Raffles Qatar for anyone seeking exceptional service and hospitality. Looking forward to visiting again! ---

Had a nice time in Raffles Doha...I must visit hotel

My stay at the hotel was generally good. The facility itself is as golden and polished as advertised—comparable to a luxury hotel in both appearance and ambiance. I checked in late in the evening while the manager was busy closing out the day, surrounded by a stack of receipts. The tone was professional, though somewhat lukewarm. I stayed in the Urban Suite, which overlooks an empty lot and a partial view of the bay. The room featured shelves lined with coffee table books and a standard fruit basket (banana, apple, orange, and plum). The bed was easily the highlight of my stay—extremely comfortable and inviting. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to enjoy the in-room coffee in the morning, as there was no milk provided for the Nespresso machine. I skipped the complimentary breakfast and went for a local restaurant. Just before checkout, I received a call from the front desk at 11:45 AM, asking if I needed help with my luggage and confirming if I was “still good for noon checkout.” While courteous, the timing and phrasing made me feel slightly rushed. All in all, while there were a few minor service hiccups , the facility is just as stunning as it appears online.

Security personal at this hotel is terrible , don’t recommend at all

A fabulous experience. The hotel was everything and more, The breakfast had a very nice selection something for everyone, the hotel itself was amazing snd the staff was incredible, so kind and always made sure we had everything always ready to help.

This property is gruñe amazing and staff is amazing one of the nicest hotels I’ve stated at. Comparable with Burj al Arab and Atlantis the Royal

Our stay was interesting. We initially spent most of the stay trying to find a suitable rooms as the staff hadn’t made any arrange arrangements or acknowledgement to rectify several issues. It wasn’t until a formal complaint was submitted that a duty manager upgraded us which was a recommendation made by us. All in all not the stay we expected

Best hotel in Doha hands down. Stayed in all the best hotels and this one is by far the best. Everything about my stay was impeccable. Thank you Raffles for hosting my wife and I. We have traveled the world and stayed in some amazing places and this is our new #1 hotel

So, for me, the number one criteria above all others is a peaceful night's sleep. If everything else is great, but I can't sleep, the rest really doesn't matter. The rooms are great, as to be expected. The location is fantastic, interesting and walkable. However, the service, particularly compared to other hotels in the area, leaves a lot to be desired. Particularly, scheduling a work crew at 3:30 AM to dismantle decorations from a wedding with hammers. On top of this, no greeting upon arrival, a late check-in, (to be fair, given transportation as compensation) and balcony windows so filthy you could barely see through them. It is a unique and beautiful hotel and it deserves a staff and management that respects it.
