Residence Inn by Marriott Aberdeen

Great stay, great location (close to shops and sites). The only issue I had was that google took me to a different destination. My friend who lives there and went to pick me up had the same issue. So you'll have to walk / drive around for a bit, get confused, a bit lost... until you find it in a courtyard! It is literally across from Maggie's Grill (great food!). The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast wasn't bad but could improve a bit with healthier options like boil eggs, seeds, avocados, gluten free options but overall it was good.

Nice room with a kitchen which was great only negative was only BBC stations on large tv . Breakfast hot buffet of bacon sausages and scrambled eggs wasn't the best quality but the cold buffet was very good. Staff were excellent couldn't do enough to help .Hotel is in a good location 10 mins walk from stations. Would definitely return here if we return to Aberdeen

Hot breakfast on cold plates is a definite no. Some hot food was available from the buffet whilst other parts came from the kitchen, which wasn't ideal.

Friendly staff and great location.

Having been in international business all my working life, I have spent nights in virtually hundreds of hotels, from 5-star to 3-star etc. worldwide. This hotel should never be booked by anybody arriving by car. There is zero signposting for it, nor can you see it from the street as it is based between other high-rise blocks nor any direct access to the hotel to unload your luggage. It took us more than one hour to locate the hotel, but unloading can only be done when you stop on double yellow lines, risking immediate traffic tickets. Then you have to lug cases up stairs before you get to the entrance. Having asked for corresponding information beforehand, non was received - other when I was already on the way, and that was useless. Parking is the next major problem as they have no in-house facility. Two parking facilities with approx. 2000 parking spaces exist - about half a mile away. Once you got in, you have to find your way through 2 parts of the shopping centre, which closes at 6.00 pm. Having been rather agitated looking for the parking facility (as the sheet given by the hotel, again, was useless), I parked the car somewhere. It subsequently took me two days to find it again. How any hotel chain like the Marriott can offer such an arrangement is totally incomprehensible. Never again. This arrangement for a five-day break totally annulled any benefit one could have had from a stay at central Aberdeen. Don't complain afterwards - you have been warned.

Great location in the centre of Aberdeen. Welcoming staff. Very comfortable, clean and modern room, super quiet. While we didn’t take advantage of it as we were near the end of our trip, the onsite laundry including soap was a great extra amenity. Nice breakfast

Great location, lovely room and very friendly and helpful staff. Able to store luggage securely and enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, highly recommend.

Lovely hotel in centre of town. Can get discounted car parking at the Loch Street Bon Accord car parking next to the hotel. Would highly recommend

This was the perfect hotel to stay in while in Aberdeen. The staff were very helpful with any questions we had. The location is ideal to seeing the city, while also within walking distance to the train station. The continental breakfast was better than other hotel breakfasts that required payment. Overall, can't recommend this hotel enough for travelers.

It was fresh and had variety

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at the residence inn Aberdeen. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, friendly, and incredibly helpful — truly going over and above to make my stay comfortable. The property itself was clean, well-maintained, and very inviting. The bedrooms were beautiful, and I especially appreciated the extra linen provided, which was perfect as the room was quite cool. The hallway and shared areas were also lovely and well presented, and all toiletries were readily available, which was a thoughtful touch. Breakfast was absolutely fabulous, with fresh fruit, coffees, teas, water, and juices available. There was also the option of a delicious cooked breakfast alongside continental choices, which made for a great start to the day. The price was well worth it, especially considering the quality of the stay and the beautiful, comfortable bed. I would highly recommend staying here and would happily return again.

Disappointed that the advertised car park is actually not available to any guests. The breakfast service was slow, had to wait 15 minutes for a table and other guests were asked if they would allow others to sit with them - too long queuing for quite afew guests. Need more tables and a better system

Very modern with our room very comfy and well setup for a couple on a short visit to the city

We enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and warm. The bed was comfy. The couch was a lovely touch and comfy. The little kitchen was a nice added touch to. The breakfast was everything we needed. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
