It is really a lovely hotel with beautiful rooms and wonderful staff. My only knock is that the room was hot and difficult to cool down and the pub can be rather noisy.

It was a lovely modern, clean spacious hotel with easy proximity to city centre. We arrive early to drop our bags and the general manager allowed us check in early to the room which was incredibly kind, thank you! Would definitely stay here again!

Lovely stay. Location just outside of city centre easy to access via public transport there is a bus stop just outside. Room was large and walk in wardrobe and facilities to use if needed. Welcoming staff and just a lovely place to stay. The bar downstairs can get busy but we didn’t hear anything from our room. Would definitely stay again when I visit next.

Great stay, clean and was quiet even though it was fairly busy. Only issue was there was a lack of air conditioning and the fan we were provided was loud and not very powerful. Would go back. Staff was lovely too.

Great 2 night stay in Deluxe Room. Nice room with huge bathroom including roll-top bath. Staff were excellent during the stay and the food and drinks were first class, with breakfast particularly good. Very pleasant stay and will certainly be returning.

Very well located for walking to the major visitor attractions such as the Botanical Gardens, Princes Street, The Royal Mile and The Castle, to name but a few. Very good bus links close by. Hotel itself is very well presented. Great food from the restaurant, lively (but not rowdy) bar, but as soon as you go to the bedrooms all is quiet so don’t be put off. Peaceful at night. Polite and professional staff. For a city location this is a fabulous choice.

So far the best hotel we have stayed at in Scotland. The room was far above our expectations. The bathroom has a roman tub, a shower, dual sinks. Water pressure was excellent. The bed had a very tall and stylish headboard. The closet was very deceiving. It revealed a huge room with a vanity and a mirror. The food was excellent. Despite the restaurant being so busy, the staff went out of their way to find us a table. The staff is the jewel crown. We will stay here the next time we are in town.
