The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful, allowing early luggage storage and check-out. The rooms are clean and the neighborhood is nice. It's close to the MRT and Bugis, within walking distance. I've stayed here several times and have been very satisfied.

Highly recommended to stay here if you are in Singapore, because it is close to the MRT and buses. Next to the apartment there is also a mosque so for Muslims it is very easy to pray. Right below the apartment there is a Padang restaurant. The most important thing is that the apartment is very clean and complete

A very nice hotel apartment in singapore bencolen area. Suitable for family holidays. With the concept of a very complete apartment, with all the complete household appliances. The room is very suitable for family group travellers. There is a big refrigerator, microwave, complete set of kitchen equipment. Less than 100 meters to MRT station. Surprisingly, during our stay in December 17, the hotel gave all guests free American breakfast.

Our stay at Somerset Bencoolen was a pleasant one. There are some small details that need improvement however, it suited our purpose and overall we had a comfortable stay. The apartments need a bit of refurbishing (we stayed in a 2Br apartment on the 8th floor) and the pictures are more inviting than in real life. The hotel uses a signature smell that is too strong for us and our baby. It can be dialed back a little bit. The cleaning agents in the room are also quite strong and too harsh for our infant so we had to air out the room. On the bright side, the bed was comfortable, the room was large, the AC was cold, the shower was hot, towels were fluffy. Good value for what you get.
