Truly exceptional property in the town center. Our room overlooking the fountain was spacious and well appointed with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was very good. Staff were gracious and made us welcome. We are far from athletes but managed stairs to first floor with no trouble.

very nice hotel, right in the middle of town on the main square. You can hear the fountain and nice music. Very nice experience, for sure we will stay here again.

Great location right on a pedestrian plaza. The rooms were immaculate and nicely furnished. Parking was under construction, but we were afforded front door parking for our motorcycles. Only difficulty was finding the parking. GPS navigation called for driving up the pedestrian plaza, vice the road behind hotel.

הזמנו מראש חדר זוגי משודרג
כשהגענו למלון נאמר לנו שאין חדרים זוגיים אלא רק מיטות נפרדות, כל אחת בפינה אחרת של בחדר . החדר עצמו לא מזכיר אפילו את החדר בתמונות.
שטיחים מלוכלכים, חדר אמבטיה מיושן, ממש לא חדר ״דלוקס״ שהוזמן. אפילו בקבלה אישרו לנו שהחדר שבתמונות הוא הסויטה ולא החדר שהזמנו . רק לאחר התערבות של הוטלס הסכימו להחליף לנו חדר.
לא ממליצה על המלון ולא על השירות. היתרון היחיד הוא המיקום במרכז העיר.

Historic building reconstructed, clean, modern with some historical finishes remaining. High ceilings. Rear courtyard was quiet I was able to sleep with the window open. Didnt see air conditioning but a fan was already in the room. Room was spacious. Location of the hotel was very central. Decent breakfast, would return in the future.

The Arcade hotel is a lovely old building, the staff are friendly &helpful. The room we stayed in was clean,spacious and beautifully decorated with comfortable beds. It is situated in Banska town,we stayed during the christmas market and we heard minimal noise from the market. We will definatley be returning to hotel Arcade, a great place.

Lovely space, great location. Could have benefited from a little more attention to detail - ex staff will leave a coffee cup in the room uncleaned if there’s a spoon nearby. Maybe cultural. Also listing in accurately states there is no parking A if you ask they will let you into the gates parkade for free.

A last minute booking. Great location and funky hotel. No lift but staff took my heavy case up and down stairs after offering - very nice. Only difficult thing for me was no air conditioning due to historic building etc. while I feel sorry for hotel as lovely as are staff this would make if difficult in the height of summer! Area is nice and quiet but got me still too hot even with window open!

Lovely old buildings with lots of history...right in the heart of the action....good breakfast with polite staff..would stay again...no air conditioning but big windows and a fan worked. Clean and roomy...could here the bells from the church and music from the fountain.....

The hotel is in a beautiful historical building with high ceilings in a fantastic location in the very center of Banska Bystrica next to sights, restaurants, cafes and in walkable distance to SNP museum. It has a private parking for hotel guests which is very helpful in the city centre. The room was very nice and clean. There is no elevator though, so this should be considered if it's an issue for someone.

No lift and very high floors, we stayed on 3rd it is over 100 steps. Not very advisable for older people or restricted on mobility.

Only stayed one night but hotel is nicely situated on town square and has interesting features as hotel has a long history. Breakfast was included and we were impressed by the cleanliness of the hotel generally.
