Ideal for people visiting on business. Not the best for leisure and luxury

Every single time I’ve stayed here my stuff is stolen , jewelry gone , designer bags and shoes gone and no one knows a thing or won’t do a thing. Had my stuff held at storage and expensive items were stolen. On top of that the staff is SO RUDE and disrespectful. Especially the ladies at the front desk reception and over the phone will be screaming at you .if they don’t want to deal with customers then maybe they must be in the wrong occupation. Some of the house keeping can be really disrespectful but not all.

The hotel was great except for the room design. I traveled with one other person and had a room with one king bed. The trouble is that there was no privacy for the shower area (door opens directly into main area), and there are mirrors everywhere. If you want privacy from traveling companions in the shower / toilet area, you might want to research the room designs more carefully when making your reservation. Also, our room was close to the elevators, which we heard chiming throughout the night. So ask for a room away from the elevators if you’re sensitive to noise. Pros: After a safari trip, we were grateful for the shoe cleaning station in the main lobby. Breakfast buffet was nice. We appreciated the coffee machine in the hallway. We also appreciated that we could easily and safely walk to Mandela Square (food, shopping).

The breakfast was pretty good. However the rooms are very very tiny. Make sure you cross check the square metres before booking. We had to upgrade to a bigger room. The telephone wasnt working and we had go down to reception any time we needed assistance with anything. Only on the last day were we told we could scan the key to create an account from which you can request hotel services. There is also no room service for food as the restaurants are independent of the hotel. You have to order food and bring it up alone. The staff was sometimes rude to some guests as well. They also only provide water on the day of arrival after which you have to buy from the restaurants. They also did not have Netflix even though they advertised as such. In summary it is a great location, great breakfast, poor service

Overall, everything about this hotel was perfect, from the facilities to the service. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay and I look forward to visiting again in the future.

It’s a stylish with bold design choices (leopard prints, chandeliers, a robot in the lobby) but fun, and in good condition. There was a problem retrieving my Expedia reservation but a staff person helped me check in.

Yes, the staff in general was okay. Lack of professionalism, the restaurant horrible they need a cooch or a chef that knows what he's doing, same think for breakfast as simple as someone that could fry an egg. Second night 3 guys from the hotel staff knocked aggressively at my room just at midnight the guy in the middle was holding a credit card machine. It turned out that they had the wrong room it was a mistake. After I closed the door I hear them back from my room doing the same abnocious banging on another room down the hallway. Who would that? They couldn't wait until the morning or couldn't they use the phone. I mentioned the incident to the reception the second day and informed them about my name and my room number not to do that again? The unprofessional receptionist or manager asked me if i had my do not disturb sign at the door. I replied the way they knocked on the door that was not going to hold them back. And she mumbled to the staff behind her the incident. Will never step a for again at this hotel. This morning i had a stomach atrocious pain after breakfast. I'm not putting 1 star because i have sympathy to the staff working their such a nice people and very devoted but the management is at fault 100%, they didn't provide any but it's obvious that no training was given to their staff.

I stayed here while on tour with G adventures. The double room was the same size as the single room. Great breakfast options with eggs made to order. I enjoyed the amenities, particularly the spa and the pool/bar area. Only issue was WiFi was spotty in the room.
