My trip to Seoul was for a holiday after two days ago to attend an academic event at KAIST. I decided untu stay at blueboat Hostel Myeongdong for three days because of good references from previous guests. And indeed, this inn is excellent, safe, and clean. This inn is close to three major subway, the subway Myeongdong, and Chungmuro subway line that connects two Seoul. Enough to walk five to ten minutes we could langusng toward the subway. The inn's location is also very close to the famous area of Myeongdong! we can walk five to ten minutes to get to katredal Myeongdong and hawker center and shopping there. At night, we could even see Namsan Seoul Tower glowing from the main street. There are many around the lodge minimart, and sell food. The hostel staff was also very nice and friendly. Hostelnya is quite small, but very comfortable His ministry.

When I was just arrived, it's a bit tricky to find this hostel. I'm lost, tried to contact the owner but then internet was off. But I was lucky, because someone helped me to find the hostel. He walked me there, and so glad that I met Tae Young - the owner, he read my message. He had already waited for me accross the street. Thanks to the nice Oppa who walked me to the hostel. I stayed here for 5 days. The hostel inside as same as the pictures shown in website. Nice interior. Actually, I was a bit worried because the shower room as you can see on it's photos. But it didn't happen as what I thought before, it went well.. Breakfast was nice, starts from 8-10am, milk, orange juices, cereals, eggs, breads, peanut jam, butter, chocolate pasta. I was really enjoyed the breakfast time, talked with other room mates from different countries, and the musics as its backsound. So nice.. The nearest subway to Blueboat Hostel is Chungmuro exit 5, about 8-10 minutes walked. But my room mates told me, it's more closer to Euljiro-1(il)ga Station. I don't know which exit, sorry. It's near to Myeongdong main street about 10 minutes walk. Gwangjang Market-you can just go by taxi only for 3000-4000 KRW. Its also not really far to go to Gyeongbokgung palace. Just few blocks from hostel, you will find many coffee shops, and restaurants. They clean your room everyday, towel was also provided. Wifi worked really well! So fast. Blueboat was also safe, after around 10 pm, they will locked the main door, only the guest with key can enter, also, thanks to one of the staff that helped me to book Nanta Show ticket with 20% discount! One thing that I would never forget about Blueboat is Tae Young. Not only because he's helpful, but the day before I left, I told him that I will leave early morning, so maybe we couldn't meet again the next day. I asked him to wait for me, and yes, he was waited for us! We took some pictures together, and by chance we went out for a moment on that chill midnight. Just a light chit chat but it was really memorable, he feels like an old friend to me. Like oppa ! ^^ Thanks Blueboat Hostel, Tae Young and staffs! I wish I could go back to your place soon.. See ya!

Good long staying
I stayed in blue boat hostel from 21 Oct till 3 Nov, two weeks, and I found it pleasing and warm. The owner is very helpful and understanding, I had good conversations with him, he also tried his best to be available most of the time, and when he is not , he will leave a message on his disk. The hostel is close to Myeongdong shopping street and to Myeongdong station which made my trip easier. It's also close to many cafe shops and restaurants, so even during those days when I was exhausted and didn't want to visit far places, I had the pleasure to visit those cafe shops, especially Arista. Also, some people complained in reviews regarding carrying baggages up and down since there is no elevator and the stairs aren't that friendly, I don't know about their experience but in my case, the owner and his employees carried my baggage so this wasn't an issue for me at all. Cons: Though the owner and his employees work hard to keep the hostel clean - I have seen the owner cleaning by himself to make sure everything is going good - but sometimes the shower rooms will get messed and it will be so hard for me to use them, and because the cleaners are males, it's hard to be in the female bathrooms most of the time. My suggestion, is to have a female cleaner who work especially in the rush hours to keep the shower rooms clean.

Excellent! ♥️
Highly recommended! ♥️ The hostel was so clean and neat. The kitchen and dining area place was very dreamy, it was like IKEA demo place. Haha! ♥️ They even had a leg massage, perfect for a tiring walk. Kudos to the owner, he knows how to speak in English well and very thoughtful, helpful and accommodating 😊

Budget friendly yet Awesome Service
Staff are polite and accommodating especially the manager Tae Young who speaks english very well. The girl named June (receptionist) is also a must-to-mention because she made one of my breakfast day so great by sharing her travel adventures and writing me my name in Korean Characters that I used in my facebook photos. We stayed in a small room on our first 2 nights but was delighted to be transferred in a bigger room for the next 3 nights. Our stay here feels like home. And oh the breakfast is a plus! I love the toast jam.

Cozy, convenient, clean
Excellent place for budget travellers. The place is very clean, comfortable and cozy, almost like a home in a foreign land. Our host is friendly and helpful, providing useful guides, suggestions and even assisting with tour bookings. The place is conveniently near two stations, lots of yummy food place and coffee joints nearby. Thumbs up!

Nice guesthouse
Cozy guesthouse with all u need: breakfast, laundry, nice people, quiet & close the main centre city. I stayed for 3 nights and it was perfect, it's not a big hostel but there enough space to the luggage. It's very clean & they change u the towel (small size) everyday. the manager is very helpful, so it's great. My rate: 10/10
