Friendly DH Naissance Hotel by Mindrum Group

The staff was very friendly and helpful! And, the room was cozy and clean! I would suggest this place for solo trips or if you have others with you!

Excellent location

I stayed here for a week and was impressed by how helpful and friendly the staff were. The hotel is also in a very convenient location for the both the metro (Line 4) and the direct bus to Seoul Incheon Airport (6011). I had chosen to stay in one of the Basic rooms and was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable and well appointed the room was: particularly the bathroom, which was relatively spacious. The free breakfast was sufficiently nutritious and the menu varied enough to make each morning a little bit different. The No 4 metro line takes you direct to or connects you with a lot of the worthwhile attractions in downtown Seoul or elsewhere in the city. The nearest stop (Sungshin Women's University) is 5-10 minutes walk away from the hotel. Conveniently located though the hotel is, it might still be a bit confusing to locate the hotel if arriving at night. If you use Exit 1 at the metro, or alight from the 6011 Airport Bus, you will see a branch of Olive Young (a Korean chain of cosmetics shops) ahead of you. Take the small street that goes up to the right of it. Then take either the second or third turning on the right. The hotel takes up the space between these two small streets.

Convenient location close to the public transportation. Many walkable dining options. Olive Young and Daiso nearby. "Unique" decor. Friendly staff. AC unit in each room that we could control. Complimentary travel size toothbrush, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, as well as complimentary shower sandals, bathrobes, etc. The only negative was that the plumbing can't handle toilet paper in the toilets, so there was a sign to place toilet paper in the bathroom trash can instead of flushing down the toilet. Overall a good experience.

For this grade of hotel - no complaints. It was clean, convenient, great location and staff were 10/10. Will definitely return. Thank you!

Hotel attached to a busy mall and late night food stalls are only 5 minutes walk away. Although Hotels.com advertise King size beds, they do not have any. Reception staff said all their rooms are Queen beds and it could be a translation issue on the web sites. In spite of this, rooms were comfortable.

Great place to stay and very welcoming.

The front desk agent speaks English fluently which is very helpful. As he overheard us talking about finding a coin laundry. He immediately checked if there was any washer available for us. He found the washer was available and patiently showed us how to use it.

Great service and courteous staff

The one corner looked dirty at night, an alley looking entrance. During the day is was ok. A block away, beautiful live commercial area.

Good location, near subway and close to shopping and restaurants. Neighborhood was quiet.

Great place to stay to explore Seoul. The staff is amazing, very friendly and helpful. This is a small and cozy hotel, but it provides all you need. When traveling to South Korea it is better to speak Korean, and it is great to have advice, explanation and support in English if you do not speak Korean, like me. For me, this place went beyond my expectations, considering very reasonable price! There are hundreds (literally) small restaurants in the walkable distance. So many, so it is hard to choose :) Public transportation in Seoul is great. Get a T-Money card in 7-11 or CU store, and go exploring. Or walk, if you are into walking. Another huge benefit of staying at DH Naissance Hotel is that it is some 300 yards from the Airport shuttle stop. Taxi to the airport gets expensive, and the shuttle (it is called Airport Limousine)

I was not collected by the shuttle from the airport so county access my reservation as my plane arrived later than ey

The service of the front desk and housekeeping is excellent. Reception staff speak very good English. Room is spacious with separate toilet, sink and bath facilities.It would be nice if a map is sent to customers via 24 na-gil instead of 22 na-gil as it is easier to find the hotel. It is easier to locate Olive Young and Burger King.

The family suite we stayed in was very tiny with a small bathroom. The bathroom door is a frosted/clear glass door which didn’t provide any privacy. There is no lock on the bathroom door, and you can see right into the bathroom from the narrow spiral staircase. We felt very cramped and uncomfortable. Definitely not what I was expecting for a family room. I found this place to be inadequate even for 1 person. I know this is a budget friendly hotel but I don’t recommend it for a group of 3 or more unless you are traveling very light or don’t plan to spend time in the room.

My room is a family duplex for 4 people, but only has a small desk. And no place to hanging clothes. The washroom has smell! I won't recommend people to stay in this room.

I'm glad I stumbled on this hotel while looking for a place to stay in Seoul. I was looking for somewhere central enough but not too touristy. It's located in an area where there are a few universities so it's mostly the student crowds that are found here. Students mean student-friendly prices from food to clothes to shopping. There is also a stream nearby which you can follow either way which will lead you to Seoul's central district by foot. The hotel is divided into 2 buildings. I stayed at the older building which was still quite comfortable and cosy. Although the room looked a bit tired and could use a refresh, it was constantly kept clean and well stocked by the competent and hardworking housekeeping staff. One thing I really loved about this hotel was the quality and quantity of the free single use toiletries they provided. I ended up keeping the leftovers to take back with me! It was very cold in Seoul in my first 2 days but there was underfloor heating and the toilet was a Japanese one so even the seat was heated. The breakfast is nothing to write home about. Very spare and simple and the hotel is very honest about this. I only tried it once but if you're not fussy about breakfast then you should be ok. I was more interested in trying out the cheap places around the hotel. There are convenience stores all over the hotel and one just directly opposite. The owner Charlie and his staff or family (it felt like a family-run hotel) were very friendly and helpful.

Slightly older dated hotel but it had everything we needed, it was comfortable and the staff were great.
