Holiday Inn Resort ALPENSIA PYEONGCHANG by IHG, an IHG Hotel

This hotel has probably seen better days. Rooms are outdated and are poorly maintained. Shampoo, conditioner and soap are located distant from the shower/bathtub and cannot be moved closer. No one filled the containers during our stay and only.provided towels for two. Parking lot is a public parking and I could not find a single parking spot after driving for over 20 minutes. Family room has a mini bunkbed that cannot fit a kid over 7 years old. Upsides are closeness to ski lift and the breakfast. Multiple options and good rotation of variety over the days.

There is no bed in a hotel. The staff is very stubborn and not flexible at all.

Nice place and gives a very cozy feeling. Definitely enjoyed the stay there.

The state of the furnishing in the room is not well maintained. No warmer on toilet seat, especially important during winter times.

Overall stay is good. Good selections of dining options around the area. Very near the Ski School and ski slope. For an IHG hotel, the service level are subpar unfortunately. Although concierge team are super friendly and helpful

Fantastic space

The Alpensia slopes were few and smaller, but the resort area was awesome. Lots to chose from. This is good if you're a new skier or maybe want to learn snowboarding.

Here for ski, so it was an excellent location although it was during the covid period. After 2 years away, realized a lot of amenities are not provided - such as no toothbrush, toothpaste, combs etc. Just the bare minimum of tea, coffee, soap, shampoo and moisturizer.

We had a wonderful time at this hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly the room was comfortable , clean, and the location could not be beat for convenience and accessability. We literally could watch the ski slope from our room and wake up to that beautiful site every morning - ski-in ski-out at its finest! We also received a 30% discount on lift ticket and equipment rental with a stay at the hotel. The staff was awesome and helped us call a taxi, find out information about the local area, and even personally assist us jumping a dead battery in our car due to the extreme cold. We plan to come back again while we are here in South Korea, we couldn’t be happier or offer a higher recommendation to this outstanding hotel.

a rather old facility, but it's very clean and comfortable. the staff are very friendly. however, breakfast needs to be improved to suit the hotel.

The bed was too small and it was too old the mattress gave me back pain

The hotel is comfortable. They provide soft and firm pillows.

It is next to the ski area. Lots of food choices too.
