The location is great—walking distance (5 to 15 min walk) to various subway stations. Near to Ikseon-dong shopping street, hence there are a lot of food options. Hotel staff are also helpful and warm. The room is spacious and has everything we needed for the stay. We enjoyed our stay here and would come here again!

Loved the hotel which was relatively small but ideally located so close to shops, restaurants and short walk to subway, buses and some of the key sights of Seoul. The hotel was clean, room was good sized and the staff were excellent.

Location. Location. Location. Easy walk to so many places - multiple palaces, temples, cafes, restaurants, markets, subway. Service is outstanding. Rooms are spacious. Loved the little extras, like phone chargers, slippers, bathrobes, and air conditioning, too. Would stay here again.

Location is excellent – easy walk to the many galleries and shops of insadong . The front desk staff were helpful. There is no breakfast. We walked to a nearby bagel shop for breakfast every morning. There is free access to laundry facilities, but in June 2026, they are not working well. I tried to do laundry one evening, and it took six hours for me to get one load washed and dry. This is a small and peaceful hotel. There are no shower curtains, but you get used to it! The air conditioning works very well, which is not true at some hotels in Korea.

I determined to book a hotel for my stay in Seoul to be a more local establishment and not some soulless high rise. I chose well. All the blogs were superlative and I see why they were persuasive to my own decision. The room was silent and conducive to sleep. The small cafe was delightful but could use a couple more items on the menu. The staff were attentive when required and excellent. The location is not a room with a view, but location location location. Absolutely bang centre of everything you would wish to see and you can walk to everything without need of public transport. I felt local by the end of my weeks stay, and miss it still !!! No hesitation in recommending Hotel Sunbee.

Excellent location within walking distance to many sightseeing areas and restaurants. Hotel is located on a quieter street just a block away from busier roads. There is a small coffee shop onsite. Room was very clean, any travel amenities you could need were available upon request. Took a bit to figure out the air conditioner but the Google Translate app made that a fairly simple task.

Excellent location, comfortable beds and spacious rooms. There’s so much to do within walking distance. We appreciated the free laundry on site as well. Friendly staff, and complementary coffee in the morning, which was nice because most businesses don’t open until later. We stayed for a few nights and then booked back there again because we loved it so much.
