the room was decent for what you would need to get out of it: bed, couch, work table, sink, bathroom. there were a few random stains and prints on the wall and furniture but we wiped it down.. there’s also laundry! self-sufficient machine in the common space. location is superb. just a quick 10 minute walk to hongdae shopping street with plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. there was even a local farmers market there on the sunday we were there. the service was ok. we had tried to get help with calling a taxi on the day we had to leave for the airport a few times and the staff seemed dismissive and also gave mixed answers. also while using one of their machines, it ate up my money without providing the service and when asking the staff for help they kept telling me they couldn’t do anything. it was very frustrating. don’t think i would be returning but maybe good for solo travelers if they’re looking for others going solo.

Excellent place for a solo traveler, an artist or entrepreneur. Feels very communal but you have your own space. Things are inspiring with technology and ease of use of amenities being highlights of Localstitch.

The hotel is very nice, and the style it’s going for really works in my opinion. The area around the hotel is also super great for food, shopping and is just a great part of Seoul. The issues we found all had to do with the room lacking many features that are typically available in most hotel rooms. There were no towel racks to hang towels, no ironing board (in a business hotel), no shower curtain so the whole bathroom floor and toilet got soaked, and no closet to hang up clothes. The room also has a light by the door that is motion triggered that could not be turned off, so if you went to the bathroom in the middle of the night you got blasted by a bright light as soon as you walked over. The controls for the lights was on a small led control panel on the wall beside the bed that was very bright at night and also could not be turned off. Lastly the bathroom door is more like a frosted shower door with space on the side of the door so it’s more like a public bathroom stall in your hotel room. Just why, please just put a real door on.

I really liked the 24 hour gym and self laundry machines! There were also a ton of working spaces which I imagine would be useful if I was working on my trip. The rooms were the perfect size for a single person with luggage. It’s about a 15 minute walk away from the closest station exit so you just have to plan in advance to make sure you get to where you need on time.

Rooms are very small.

Perfectly located walking distance from the Seoul metro, and hongdae walking street. The area is quiet and safe but not too far from the lively areas oh hongdae.

Everything is fast and easy. Self check in and out on a little computer where you can check in even late at night time because it will distribute room key.

Great property, but minimal amenities for those travelling solo

Overall experience was great! Good location, walkable from the station and very young lively vibe of hotel. Many people work at the hobby so beware of that if you want to save your seat. There’s a cafe in the same building and their coffee is great. Room condition was clean and everything was good. Had a good experience with local stitch, would like to visit again

I had a great time during my Korea trip this time . It is easy to go anywhere from here . the atmosphere of this hotel also make me feel like home too.

Staff was super friendly and helpful. We stayed for 5 nights and was super easy to get to the subway or bus. Lots of food near by
