I pretty much enjoyed my stay, but a few things gave me cause for concern:
1. From the pictures, it looks like I may have been given a standard room even though the receptionist verbally confirmed I booked a premium room. So I'm not 100% sure if I was overcharged for a standard or was just sent to the wrong room. The space was still pretty big, the amenities were very nice and it was quiet, so I didn't complain.
2. This hotel is NOT smoke-free as advertised on its main page. ALL of the rooms for ANY given date range are described as "smoking". Because of this discrepancy in information, I checked with hotels.com as well as the receptionist and the response was "some rooms are smoking, some aren't. Maybe the non-smoking rooms were already booked." Like I said, it didn't matter what dates selected, the ROOMS are all SMOKING. Upon check-in, my room wasn't heavily smoky, but once in the bath tub, I could smell my neighbors' smoke! It didn't last long, but if you have allergies or other respiratory issues, you may want to look elsewhere.
3. Hotels around Korea always list that they speak English, but this isn't true. Maybe one or two staffers do, but of course, they don't work 24/7, so when you check in, you may get someone who doesn't speak any English.
4. There's no privacy in the bathroom. If you're an exhibitionist, maybe that's okay. :)
