Everything about my stay was perfect. The staff were kind and efficient, the buffet meals were delicious and elegant, and my room was kept impeccably clean every day. The hotel was fantastic from the start. Extremely close to the subway station, amazingly kind staff that went above and beyond, and very clean and spacious room as expected. The check-in was done by Chloe who was probably one of the nicest staff member I've ever encountered. She answered all my questions without hesitation despite there being a lot of them and the late hours I was checking-in at. The amenities were adequate and the breakfast was a steal. For 16,100 Won (~$15 CAD), the buffet was beyond anything I could've imagined. For the cleanliness, it was totally up to my high standards and considering everything, I would stay here again. Highly recommended!

I really liked staying here - and I was there for 2 full weeks. It's well maintained and the staff is very helpful. It is located 5 mins from Line 2 which was super convenient and there are many good stores/restaurants in the area. I had the breakfast add-on which I enjoyed; the options are a bit limited so it would be nice to get a bit of variety but overall it was a good experience!

The room was clean, staffs were so nice, and the breakfast buffet was delicious. Really enjoyed the stay. Very close from Guro digital station(line2) -5mins on foot. Airport limousine bus was also very nearby 2-3mins walking distance. Highly recommend Shilla stay!!!

Probably one of my best experiences at a hotel! I absolutely adored the receptionist who helped me figure out how to find places and gave me recommendations on where to eat in the area. Convenient store right next door to get your banana milk and ramen😋🍜 The manager that was on duty on Thursday 28th May 2026 between 2-3pm was ever so kind to us and even gave us a few coupons to have coffee and 1 free breakfast buffet ticket. It was an absolute pleasure spending time at Shilla stay and will definitely be coming back soon!

It was very easy to check in. It was also in a convenient location for me! Staff was very friendly and helpful! The room was also cleaned everyday which was nice especially since I was out all day and coming back to a clean room was amazing.

The room was spacious for my mom and I who had 4 suitcases. Front desk team were friendly and helpful. Unlike their host at the restaurant who didn’t seem to understand English properly when I asked twice when will the cafe area be available after the booked event. She didn’t seem to understand what I was asking which she had to use her phone to translate which again was the same answer as her verbal response

I really enjoyed my time at Shilla Stay-Guro. The room was extremely clean (and a nice size) and the staff was very helpful. I also enjoyed the neighborhood surrounding Shilla Stay. It isn't the typical tourist areas (which are all easily accessible, as the hotel sits on the 2 line), but the neighborhood has a life of its own, good restaurants, and is vibrant. I would stay here again.

Excellent Stay as Usual! The front desk staff were excellent, as usual—especially a wonderful staff member whose name starts with 'Y' (I unfortunately forgot the exact spelling!). Housekeeping was also fantastic and kept everything spotless. I will definitely stay here again next time!

It’s about 15 mins by train to get to some more of the major spots but even in the area itself there’s a surprising amount of things to do. Staff were helpful, room if a little small was immaculate. I went to Seoul for the first time and found it a good base, if you get it for a decent price it’s definitely worth it.

Images of the hotels are false. The ENTIRE hotel looks like it was flooded. Wall papers are coming off and carpet are coming off. Overall cleanliness is okay as it does attracts alot of dust but the entire hotel needed to be remodel. It's dark, not enough light and run down. It REALLY need some TLC. I would not stay there again.
