WITH U Hotel & Guesthouse

Not as great as I remembered but did the job of giving us somewhere warm and dry to stay. We weren't in the main building, which was a little strange, to me. Check in/out was smooth and easy. It was quite magical to wake up and see that it had snowed heavily overnight

When you arrive from Seoul with the express bus, the hostel is located opposite the bus terminal. Right outside the hostel, you'll the take the bus 7 or 7-1 to Seoraksan, around 25 min. Friendly and helpful staff that spoke English. The negative was the hostel room was very small. Good for one person, but too small for two. The beds are quite hard, but it's the same all over Korea. There was good wi-fi in the room. Bathroom with towels, shampoo, conditioner and shower cream. Good AC. A small patio outside the hostel.

Great and convenient location. It is not very clean or luxurious like 4-5 star hotels but good enough for short stay. It could be better if staff were more kind

Nothing near you can find from pictures provided. Very very small room. Not able to find a tiny space to open the carry on luggage. Paid for 2 nights, but left tge place after 1 night first thing in the morning

Great and Convenient

The member of staff on the front desk spoke good English. The room was not large, but there was enough storage space for bags. The bathroom was compact and it had an all in one basin and shower unit. The rainfall shower was pretty powerful but the floor remained wet for a while. There were mugs and a hot water machine, but no coffee or tea was provided. It is a shame that there was no breakfast. It is quite expensive for what is offered. The location was really good for local buses to major attractions. The Express Bus Station is opposite, but this is only useful for buses to and from Seoul. Buses to and from other cities may make an inbound stop there but all other outbound intercity buses go from the Intercity Bus Station about 20 minutes away by bus. The hotel has a a variety of restaurants nearby, and the beach is a 5 minute walk away. The only real issue we had with the whole stay were the beds: the most uncomfortable we've ever experienced. Not firm, just hard. With better beds, this would be a more than decent stay and would justify the price.

Right opposite the express bus terminal. Easy way to take bus to Seoul. Local bus stop to the national park 1-2 min from hotel door. New and comfortable. If got large baggage best to request for ground floor as no lift available. Need to walk up the stairs. Free Coffee available at basement common shared area. Nice lounge, cooking facilities with utensils available. The fried chicken opposite Pelicana very juicy and tender. BBQ next to hotel, the beef and belly pork nice also. Big emart just 5mins walk away.

Stay during winter time, however, there is no heating system for the toilet. So it was freezing cold when you shower. All else was good except the above.

Great location, directly opposite the bus terminal. At the main road, look opposite and slightly to the right and you can see the hotel. Clean room. English speaking staff.

Staff were friendly and very helpful, location was wonderful: right by the bus terminal to/from Seoul, on the bus line, next to Sokcho Beach and many restaurants. Easy to get to/from the market.

The room was very clean and staff was nice and helpful. However, the beds were extremely hard. For a brief night, it was decent.

I've stayed in a double bedded room - The location was ideal as it was within walking distance to the nearest bus stop (~2min) to get onto the bus to Mt Seoraksan. Additionally, the Sokcho bus terminal is also within walking distance. There are restaurants and convenience stores located nearby as well. The room provided was exactly as what the pictures looked online and it was clean. The staff were also friendly and patient in providing directions to various sights. Unfortunately, you are not allowed to eat or drink (except plain water) in the room and although there is a separation between the shower space and the toilet, there is a gap below the glass panel thus water is able to seep through during shower. Luckily the hotel provided sufficient towels and I was able place some on the floor. Nonetheless, the stay was pleasant.

Awesome place to stay. Very good experience there. I had a great time and would totally go there again.

Stayed in the shared area. The actual room was nice, but the door for entering had a loud beeping noise, and girls were slamming the door shut all throughout the night. Even if you tried to be quiet, you’d still hear the beeping, but people were not even making an attempt to be quiet. Be warned that there is only one single bathroom for all eight women to use. It is not a shared dormitory one like normal hostels. It is literally just a small bathroom that would be in a house, no separate stall for the toilet or shower. Only one person can use it at a time, so there may be a long waiting time. There was a public bathroom in the main hostel area but you would have to walk outside the building because the buildings are separate. The walls were really thin so even though the girls were sleeping in our room we could hear families with children running around in the rooms next-door. Booking this hotel on Orbitz, it said that it came with breakfast. When we got to the hotel they said breakfast was not included in the room but was served for free. Nothing in life is free. Obviously they’re using their earnings to provide breakfast at a cost that is included in the room price. I don’t really care about this, but they only had plain white toast and cereal, no eggs or source of protein at all. It’s not a huge deal since the price was cheap, but it would’ve been nice to know in advance so we could bring our own. Staff seemed unfriendly at checkin as if we bothered them for existing.

Great location across the express bus station. No Bath towels provided, only 4 sets of hand towels. Free WiFi & breakfast which was good. For some reason I felt the sheets didn’t feel clean to me.

Friendly, helpful staff. Good location.

Compact but good interior design, but no food allowed inside room. Opposite is express bus station and Emart is nearby.
