4 Bears Studios

A great place to stay when visiting Madrid. Central location with facilities nearby. The studios themselves have been thoughtfully designed and well executed. You really feel that you stay longer in comfort here. Would highly recommend them (although I want to keep them a secret for myself when visiting lol)

I stayed in a lovely little studio that made excellent use of a small space. It had everything I needed, except perhaps an outdoor space, but Madrid has many beautiful outdoor spaces. The studio was super clean as well, and away from noisy areas of the city, though everything was pretty much within walking distance. When it came time to leave, I waited less than 2 minutes to find a taxi right outside the main entrance.

The room is very cool. The bar and theater are part of the room (thought it was communal space). The jet tub is great, helped sore muscles after a ton of walking. The only down side is there's no real ac. The floor gets hot or cold depending on the setting and there's a room fan, but neither of that helps how hot it is in the loft bed. I got 90 minutes of sleep before waking up boiling hot and eventually at 2 am, I made a pseudo bed from the half couch and it's pillows which moved into the path of the fan and slept a few more hours that way. The environmental features are great but a small electric ac on the wall would have made all the difference. I also tried cracking the window/door however someone in the courtyard was smoking so it was a no go

The best hotel I came across in Spain.

The only challenge for me was the loft bed. I am 67 and climbing into bed was not a good experience.

Fabulous location in the heart of downtown. I loved the self serve access via code number and the studio was large, comfortable, and very nicely designed.

Very good and convenient room, I totally appeciated that, one thing to note is that the shower pressure was a bit weak

Exactly as described! Very modern with sensor lights and easy check in. The bed and pillows were super comfy. Incredible location and easy to find. Agreed the stairs would not be good for some but as a solo traveler I absolutely loved this!

Great design!! Love the place. Luxurious linens. Well equipped kitchen. Location is excellent for walking to museums, major sights. Communication was rapid. Small prob quickly resolved; an unexpected, entirely unnecessary gift was sent as well.

Great location, short walk to transit and many other things to see! Only downside was that there isn’t a true Air Conditioner (uses floor cooling) so the room was a bit hot aside from that very clean and awesome place to stay!

small (especially while using sofa bed) but functional. clean, modern, comfortable. no place to sit and eat. no place to put things in the bathroom. safe area. walking distance to eating and shopping. easy walk to Metro.

Location great, coded access system fab, able to store bags on the day we left, room well equipped and with quirky design. Our big BUT in Studio 1 was the bed, which is lowered to be able to be accessed from the narrow bookcase/staircase. Particularly tricky during the night if toilet required (negotiate getting out, then duck under the bed to get to the bathroom). This is not explained anywhere in the description of the property or room as far as we can see. No bedside storage on one side either for book/phone/drink. It's probably fine for most young, agile people. We're in our 50s and agile ... but struggled! Other small drawbacks - aircon is via lovely cold floor tiles which only just kept it cool enough in the hot days we were there, and water pressure low (and took ages to warm up, though eventually got there). Also a little road noise from the cobbles, but pretty well insulated and didn't keep us awake. Overall great as long as you're prepared for the bed!

Excellent location. This place is very nice, supper modern. Was a bit tight for 3 people, bathroom is super small. The manager is super friendly and quick at responding to queries. Great stay overall.

Amazing and unique spot I loved it!

Loved this place, wish I had booked it for more than one night.

This was a unique experience with small room that had a loft bed that raised up and down to get out of way. I found it fun and different. The location, service, and everything was top notch. The loft might get a bit old if staying for a long time but great for a long weekend!
