Lemon Tree Retreat at El Amparo

Really nice place working to become top notch. Great great staff. Great food, beautiful pool and facilities. Lovely place for a relaxing country stay. Overall we had a really nice stay. Our only suggestions for improvement are that directions and signage to find the hotel are still lacking. When you are arriving on a bicycle you need more because missing a sign is a big problem. You could easily add a small drawing of a map to the email you send in advance to make this issue go away. Fix the toilette smell in the verde room. But this is a great stay.

El Amparo was the perfect peaceful retreat after a few days in Seville. It is well located for a wonderful day trip to Alhambra (Granada) which is a must visit.

Perfect ! So confortable, quiet, beautiful and friendly. We spent a very very very good time with our kids. The swimming pool is awesome, the room very beautiful and clean and I have to confess something : the breakfast we had was the better of my life ! Will come back for sure !

This place is an oasis. Set off the beaten path with gorgeous views. The attention to detail and quality is fabulous. We will definitely be coming back. I’d give it 11/10 if I could

Jody and Nick were amazing hosts. They were so friendly and hospitable. We had fantastic food and wine while at the resort. We have stayed at amazing resorts around the world and this was one of the best. The room and the view was unbelievable. We can’t rave enough about the resort and can’t wait to go back.

El Amparo er designet til at give dig det bedst mulige ophold. Kan med fordel bruges af par til stille stunder, børnefamilier eller venner der gerne vil feste. Perfekt designede værelser, fleksibel køkkenmuligheder, samt ejerne, personalet der havde tid til hyggesnak.

Une halte vraiment parfaite dans ce havre de paix , nous avons été formidablement bien accueilli par Jody et tout le personnel , tout etait simplement parfait!! Une vue magnifique, une chambre tres propre et spacieuse, nous aimerions revenir pour quelques jours la prochaine fois ! Nous recommandons vivement

El Amparo er et fantastisk sted midt i det smukkeste landskab væk fra by og larm. Der er i den grad kælet for detaljerne over det hele. Der er kun 6-7 værelser, som er moderne og flot indrettet. Familiesuiten vi boede i er fin til 2 voksne og 1-2 børn. Pool, liggestole og sofaer er super lækre og perfekt til afslapning. El Amparo serverer en meget velsmagende frokost og -middagsmenu, som bestilles om morgenen. Kronen på værket er ejerne Jodi og Nicks store gæstfrihed. De er meget servicemindede og får en til at føle sige godt tilpas lige fra man kommer. Vi kommer helt sikkert igen meget snart. Store anbefalinger herfra.

Comfortable beds and a plentiful breakfast, coupled with a beautiful, albeit somewhat remote location. Excellent accomodation, would not hesitate to recommend them!

Das El Amparo Lemon Tree Retreat liegt sehr ruhig außerhalb der kleinen Stadt Santa Cruz del Comercio. Hier durften wir miterleben, wie die Einheimischen Feste feiern und Alhama de Granada liegt wenige Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt. Wer Ruhe sucht bekommt Sie im Lemon Tree Retreat, wer Action will fährt nach Granada oder Cordoba, oder aber auch nach Torre del Mar, zumindest haben wir das gemacht. Aber auch die größeren Städte waren nicht von Touristen überflutet, vielleicht lag es daran, dass wir Mitte August da waren. Ich empfand es als sehr angenehm, auch die Temperatur bis max. 36 Grad waren angenehm zu der Zeit. Frühstück im Retreat war lecker und ausreichend, wir haben einmal im El Amparo zu Abend gegessen und das war ein sehr netter Abend mit leckerem Essen. Man muss rechtzeitig anmelden sollte man Abend essen wollen, ansonsten eben nach Alhama oder Granada. Santa Cruz hat auch eine Bar/Restaurant, wobei wir hier nur mal Cerveza getrunken haben.
