Fantastic family hotel. Pool area is a delight no running for sunbeds in the morning. Bar and waiting staff are friendly and efficient. Room has plenty of space for 4. Large array of food for breakfast lunch and dinner. Hot dogs, burgers etc available self serve all day when all inclusive which I recommend. Entertainment in the evening is a little ropey but fun nonetheless. The Fun&Go Staff are amazing however. Sports, games and activities around the pool, and quiz/bingo at night.

Fantastic hotel for a family holiday in Tossa. The facilities, entertainment and dining are only surpassed by the staff who are a credit to the hotel. Pools are varied and well maintained, roof top bar for adults is great and the buffet meals are high quality. We did half board, was more than enough. Tossa is a short walk to the old town and beach with its many cafes and restaurants. Can't wait to return

Before arriving at the hotel (which we have stayed at many times in the last 20 years) I emailed to say it was my 24th wedding anniversary and we were travelling up and down the Costa brava and while we were at the golden Bahia could I have a room with a nice view… we arrived and our room was a road side room overlooking a building site with work men looking into our room 😭 we went down to reception and were told abruptly no the hotel was full and there’s nothing we can do… So I started looking for other hotels to move to, and funny enough the golden Bahia had rooms available the next day …. But they couldn’t move us??? Anyway cutting a long story short later that evening they called us to say we could move rooms the following day, after 20 years on and off staying here would I go back … no probably. As there is just the 2 of us now ( kids are grown up) I like to split my holiday and stay in a few holidays, we went to the golden mar menduda after this and had a wonderful experience.

The location is near the bus station, which worked well for us. Our room was lovely and quiet, with a nice bed and bathroom. The hotel and food prices were spendy compared to other hotels we have recently stayed at, but we enjoyed our time there for 3 nights.

Some of the amenities were modern, but not all of them. The bathrooms were outdated, but clean. The property and guests would benefit from improving soundproofing. We got woken up at 6 am every day of our stay to the sound of kids screaming in the hallway and people upstairs moving around. Some of the employees were rude, and the hotel requires a cash deposit for pool towels, which is odd, and unlike any other resort-style hotel I’ve stayed at. We had an okay experience for the price we payed. There is room for improvement.

The hotel was great more than expected and very family friendly. Only down side is how thin the walls are especially if you have younger children I would say the only thing they can approve on is will be trying to put family and children on the scene four not next to someone who do not have younger children so that the noise will not disturb them during their stay. Also, even though it was a little off-season, having a heated Jacuzzi or at least a warm, Jacuzzi would’ve been great for outside. The after hours, kids club was absolutely amazing. Each night was a different show or a different activity. It was very entertaining for both adults and children. I will definitely stay here again with my family and or by myself.

Positives, kids club included, mainly arts and crafts. Went full board, food was decent to nice but not exceptional (basic cuts of meat and fish etc). The town and beach are walking distance, around 10-15mins away. Negative, my wife went to the spa to use the sauna, steam room, which incurs an extra charge. Facilities here were not in good condition and need renewing. I used the gym, which is rather basic and small. For strength exercises, there's only one multi-station. Staff were polite but I wouldn't say overly friendly. We had all had fun overall. Just don't set your expectations too high.
