Gran Hotel Suances

We booked as 2 families with small children.. We booked 9 months in advance. We were given rooms on different floors. They were not interested in helping to overcome. A coach arrived when we were trying to book in. A line up of over 60 people with 1 person on reception. Spoke to manager in morning. Probably the rudest manager I’ve dealt with. Warning.dont book normal double room. They are horrible and on top floor with dormer window. Claustrophobic. Breakfast is poor. All ingredients cheap. Other than that hotel was ok.

We got a room beside the elevator which we try to change but the reception told us rhat they don't have any other rooms. At night it was very koud from people coming in and loud from the kitchen downstairs until 2pm.

Last day of the season hotel was cold

Could not fault the hotel. Very clean, room large and very clean. At breakfast there was plenty of choice. (continental) However, our room was at the front of the hotel and road was very noisy until about 1am. There was a lot of noise from people talking in the reception area, this I think was due to there being no doors from staircase to the corridors and also marble floors, so the noise was very echoey. Apart from these matters I would recommend it.

The reception staff were just about helpful. Probably a language barrier thing. Our room had good views but the continual noise from the nearby kitchen open windows and doors was troublesome. The bar was tiny and the barman was also the reception clerk, so we had to track him down for service.. The hotel was very busy so we decided to forego breakfast. Parking for us late arrivals was a challenge. The room was clean enough but the mattresses were incredibly hard. The shower wax tucked into a corner and too close for comfort to the wc. Unless my SatNav misguided me the distance from Santander ferry terminal is more like 29 miles and not 12 miles as publicised. Overall an eightt out of ten.

We were absolutely delighted with our hotel and most impressed by the scenery and amenities of the whole area. The food was excellent, overseen by the chef and his staff. We ate at the hotel every night despite the numerous high quality resturants available.

Excelent Accomadation the Staff were very welcoming and all requests were caterd for with a smile and enthuisasm the Hotel was very clean and comfortable. Although we only stayed on a one night stopover. We had a look at the local amenties during the day. The hotel is idealy situated for both the beech and the town center. Tha local area is an ideal family holiday location.

This is a very nice hotel which is well run and very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay which was also excellent value.

Friendly hotel clean, good pool less than 10 minute’s walk to beaches, call into tourist information office for street map and to find short cuts. Staff very helpful,

Aldrig har jeg oplevet mig så glemt. Vi boede tæt på lobbyen med larm fra pensionistbusser tidlig morgen. Og det var tydeligt at de ikke regnede med os til morgenmad. Vi måtte bede om varm kaffe.

Le sobra media estrella, en la media pensión te cobran el agua no tienen expendedor gratuito, solo tienen platos de postre para cualquier tipo de comida y en las tarrinas de helado a penas cabe una bola, el tamaño de la habitación pasa bien por tres estrellas, en el plato ducha pelos de llegada y tres días sin limpiarlos, para ser un cuatro estrellas los amenitis no aparecieron. El precio pagado no se justifica.

Buena ubicación, personal amable, habitaciones lo esperado para su categoría , buen colchón. Desayuno correcto. Por poner un "pero", no se podía pagar con American Express aunque teóricamente la aceptaban. Repetiría

Gunstige ligging

NO ME HA GUSTADO NADA DEL HOTEL. 4 ESTRELLAS Y SERVICIO PÉSIMO. SIN PERSONAL EN EL BAR, NI LUZ EN EL SALON. COMPORTAMIENTO Y TRATO EN RECEPCION Y SERVICIOS INADMISIBLE. ESTA CLARO QUE LES SOBRAN ESTRELLAS, NO SE JUSTIFICA EL PRECIO QUE CUESTA LA HABITACIÓN.

Lo mejor, la ubicación del hotel, tanto cerca de la playa como del centro de Suances. Las camas muy cómodas. El trato del personal muy bueno.

Buena situación, a menos de 10 minutos de las playas, restaurantes, centro, etc. Personal servicial e instalaciones correctas. Casi como anécdota, dispone de un gran parking privado pero por la gran afluencia de clientes en la primera semana de agosto estaba complicado pillar plaza de aparcamiento.

En general solo pasable pero dista mucho de ser un hotel de 4 estrellas La comida variada y muy buena, la repostería los postres todos calientes deberían tener los postres refrigerados

Deberían de cambiar las puertas del baño de las habitaciones.

Buen hotel para descansar muy recomendable para familias muy buen desayuno y el personal un trato excelente

Me ha gustado mucho en general, las habitaciones amplias y cómodas, y a pesar de estar junto a la carretera (por la que hay mucho tráfico), no se nota el ruido. El desayuno buffet bastante completo y el personal muy amable y atento. La única pega, que hay muy poco aparcamiento, y una vez que mueves el coche es difícil volver a encontrar uno en el recinto del hotel. Y en mi experiencia decir que la limpieza de las habitaciones es un poco tarde, al menos en nuestro caso, salimos a las diez de la mañana de la habitación y cuando regresamos a la una y media de la tarde, aún no la habían limpiado. Pero a pesar de ello, lo recomendaría a mis amigos sin dudarlo.
