H10 Salauris Palace

The hotel was lovely, great selection of food in the buffet, staff went above and beyond for the kids (eg made them Mickey pancakes or flower shape), the rooms were immaculate and the staff were so helpful with any enquiries or problems.

Lovely room, staff and food Portaventura so easy to walk to

The rooms were spacious and clean. Good-sized balcony. We like the location to Portaventura. The hotel was let down by the quality of food and the lack of friendliness from quite a number of staff members. There was very little interaction from staff, the worst was the guy cooking the eggs and pancakes in the morning. He was just plain rude and had no interest in the guests. On the first day I thought he was maybe having a bad day but no he was like this every day. The presentation was poor with eggs and pancakes being cooked then just thrown onto a pile. Dining was not a good experience overall. No glasses, having to look for cups, empty hot plates. It all just seemed rather chaotic. People would be queueing well before 9am to make the dash outside to reserve their sun beds then they'd cause a big queue to get into the restaurant. The rooftop pool was nice and relaxing away from the hustle bustle of the main pool. We also enjoyed using the indoor pool. You can buy a showercap from spa reception for €3 to wear in the pool. Overall we are very disappointed with our stay here and would rate this more an aversge 3 star hotel than a 4 star. We last stayed here about 15 years ago and standards have definitely slipped a lot. We would not return to this hotel.

Food was virtually the same every day, room had mould in it in the bathroom, safe and mini fridge were rusty, housekeeping never changed sheets in the whole stay, mopped floor but never cleaned surfaces, had a security guy banging the room door down at 2.30 am telling us not to smoke in the room, we dont smoke!, people trying to get in the room, lots of large groups of loud drunken people, no where to park car, charged every day to change pool towels, charged for ice, charged for water! No sun loungers available unless you are up at the crack of dawn and join the sunbed warriors. Very poor. Stayed at many H10 in the past. this was the worst. Staff are rude. Avoid if I were you.

Rooms were clean, entertainment was not great. It’s a decent location between the parks and downtown.

The hotel was in a great location, the pool and activities were good. Good choice of food, fit for most tastes. Room and balcony were great. Pool area and facilities good, behaviours of guests were not so good on their cleanliness and rudeness over the sun loungers- staff did parole the area between 9 and 1. Do need more parasols and some people did take too many, need these for young children.

It is really close to the theme park Portaventura World. Probably like 15min walk to the main gate. Not alot of entertainement on, but i didnt go for that. Food options were good and changed each night. Staff were helpful. Only thing i didnt like was on day of check out at around 10am housekeeping walked in on room without knocking. (Check out is 11am) luckily we were both leaving and not getting ready. Did mention it to front receptionist but didnt seem to care. Ive been here twice now. But with that incident not too sure.

Great day, especially the front staff was amazing. I can’t remember all of the names of the staff members, but they were amazing.

The hotel is clean and modern the staff are all helpful and polite. The food is also great and the location was nice it was around a 15 minute walk to the theme park and about the same to the beach. A great place if you have children plenty to do.

Beautiful hotel in a great location, only a 10 minute walk from Salou Centre and the beach. The rooftop pool for 18+ only was a highlight of our stay. Breakfast was amazing, so much choice - can’t knock our stay at all.

Very good hotel, close to PortAventura and the main town

We arrived during blackout but they were very accomodating as always. The lift was obviously out of action and dinner had to be served through use of generator but appreciated all their effort and support. We are both in our late 70s and they are always very kind to us.

Lovely place for a relaxed vacation

Overall the hotel is good. BUT it can be noisy along the corridors during the night. Overall staff are nice, professional & friendly, however on this occasion the kitchen staff (cleaners) was very rude while we were eating breakfast. They should be careful what they say as some of us “English” understand Spanish. Perfect location for PortAVentura if you plan on visiting.

Hotel is def a 4 star. Rooms were cleaned everyday, spacious and comfy beds. Food was very good especially the fresh omelettes at breakfast. Staff were helpful and friendly. Would recommend this hotel to everyone

Brilliant hotel and good value!

Amazing hotel. Very clean, lovely staff, walkable to everything and has every amenity they could think of. I will definitely stay here again. (Stayed with ages mid 40s, pensioner and teenager)
