Estuvo super bien todo

We stayed in a private room which was very clean with a simple but good private bathroom. The check-in desk was kind enough to store our bags before and after check-in/out (for €1) as we had weird transit times. It’s in a very walkable area within 10 minutes of great food/drinks/nightlife/transit and within 15 to everything we wanted to see. Highly recommend for the budget traveller.

It was excellent!

The room and property itself were great, however there was very loud construction going on in the building that no one told you about and started early and went all throughout the day so I had trouble sleeping when needed. If not for that it was a great property

Room was a bit small, the air conditioner didn't work, as the host said - they don't work in all rooms till June. It's a bit disappointing that room description says a/c, but it was not working. Room cleaning didn't always clean the floor, there was some hair on the bedsheets. Besides that, location is wonderful, comfort bed, reception was helpful, not always English speaking though.

Great for the price! Visiting in January, we had a very warm room, which was particularly appreciated. Good location with loads of cafes and bars around, easy access to metro. Can't comment on noise as I don't think it was that busy at the time - we just heard people opening their rooms from the front door. Overall 👍

Excellent value and offering at this price point. Reception and cleaning staff are friendly and helpful. Private washroom and double bed. Safe, friendly, extremely clean, updated and comfortable. Security is taken seriously with key access on the street and floor levels. On a street with a variety of restaurants and retail stores, very close to the metro station and walkable to many attractions and iconic squares. 20 minutes walk from the train station or you can take the metro line two stops as it it is uphill to the hotel. A grocery store on the street is available for incidentals. An excellent rating and value overall.

The experience was amazing, its a confortable hostal with everything you will need, there is just no minibar, but with the amazing location, you wont need it, there are several bars and restaurants around, some mini markets too, everything in a 1 minute distance. The staff is friendly and professional. Its definitely better to stay in hostal carracedo than some 3+ stars hotels poorly located. The vibe and ambience of this hostel is amazing and the price affordable. Totally recommend.

Everything was fine. The excellent location of the hostel, is clean, there is everything you need. The only thing that did not like the very uncomfortable pillows.

Excellent! Located in a great area, near bars, Plaza Santa Ana, and the center of Madrid.

This property is well located with many shops and restaurants just steps away. My room was on the floor that had been recently redone. Small room with pretty decor and a nice bathroom that was compact. Small tub but plenty big for a little soak. Friendly staff. Do be prepared however: there is no elevator and the rooms are up quite a lot of steps. I had neglected to see whether there was an elevator when I booked the room and had quite a bit of luggage to negotiate up the stairs. Lucky for me a young man and his girlfriend helped on the way up!

Entrance to the building was a bit hard to find - the signs are tiny and shared with another hostal. Hostal is on the 4th floor (3rd floor in Europe) with no lift. After check-in the hotel is very clean and comfortable. Wifi was fast enough to stream video.
