Hostal Le vintage

The place was clean and safe as well as the area. They allowed me to leave my luggage. WiFi worked great. The provided towels, shampoo and body gel. Bed was comfortable. I’m not sure if it had AC, I did see a heater. Since I didn’t need AC I didn’t look for it. Many of the things to see are within short distance.

Lovely little place to spend a few days

The hotel itself was sparkling clean and a great location. I didn't find any place to control the temperature, though, and had to cycle through opening the windows (noisy) or closing them (hot), and this was in February. Also, the bed top slid off when I tried to get out of bed in the morning, and I fell on the floor. But the host was very kind, and helpful with directions.

Bar or restaurant beneath the rooms made sleep difficult.

Le vintage is very well located, it s comfy, and the staff is very friendly. It offers an excellent cost-benefit ratio

My stay was really great, I managed to break the tap in my room within the first few minutes but it was fixed really quickly with no issues. The room was comfortable with lovely decor and a nice shower. You could hear some noises from other rooms like running water but that wasn't a big problem for me. The staff were really helpful and said hello whenever I passed them which made me feel welcome. Furthermore the entrance to the Hostal has a key code to get in which makes it feel safer than being able to walk in and out so I was comfortable leaving my possessions in the room but Ávila is a lovely and safe place anyway!!

Nice and friendly staff, comfy room, nice shower and very close to the Plaza Mayor. Found a parking space 2 streets from the hotel. Excellent cost benefit. Totally recommended.

Great staff, very clean place, wonderful location, but the foam mattress (that warms up) combined with the central heater (no individual control in the rooms) makes the room too hot. So,even if the individual heater on the room is 0, the central heater is under the floor, and the room gets too warm. We could not sleep well on both nights we were there. This is such a lovely and clean place, if it was not by the temperature in the room.

The property is cozy from the outside and the reception area but the rooms are incredibly spacious. The reception staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. They made us feel welcomed and suggested places to eat and see and things to do. Here's the negative... We were given room #12 which was nice. 10-15mins after sitting in the room, I developed a cough and a bad smell filled my nose. I started to look around the room and found a large area of the room's ceiling covered in MOLD. I got my family out and alerted the reception staff. At the same time, the housekeeping employee was present and when I mentioned the mold, she named the room number before I said it. This implied that someone on property (ie. housekeeping) ironically knew of the MOLD in room #12 which was very upsetting. We were moved to room #18 which was even more spacious. Now in room #18, the mold was not visible in the sleeping area but was present in the bathroom. The beds were some of the most comfortable I've come across in Europe and I travel every month. The WIFI did not reach room #18 at all and no mobile signal. Location was great to restaurants and bars just downstairs, the wall, the museum and a brisk 18mins walk from the train station. I would not recommend this place though on account of mold to anyone with any type of respiratory system condition or any healthy person wanting to stay healthy for that matter. It's a shame because the employees were awesome but the property is hazardous.

Great location. Inside the walled city. Near sites to visit. Room was great. Bed, comforter, towels, etc were fresh. Staff was efficient in our check in.

Wasn't that good. Hostel hasn't got reception service at night time. People from clubs got in at 4am shouting and partying. My room on the top floor had a sloped roof and only 30% of floor area you can stand up. To move in the room you need to bend over all the time. No lifts. Breakfast is poor and expensive for what it is. I am aware this is a hostel but I paid hotel prices. Would I go again? Noooo, there are much better places in Avila than this place. Deco is cool though!

Como admite mascotas, mi perro pudo quedarse conmigo sin problema (siempre que no ladren y no muerdan cosas pueden estar). La habitación, muy luminosa y alegre; me tocó una triple, de modo que grande y con armario espacioso; con TV y mesa con silla. También un ventilador de pie, que utilicé la segunda de las dos noches de mi estancia. Con vistas desde el balcón (más bien ventana muy grande) a la calle Comuneros de Castilla, peatonal.

Habitación espaciosa con nevera y calefacción pero sin aire acondicionado, el único defecto que le veo si vas en verano. La ubicación es excelente. Las camas son cómodas, el WiFi casi no llegaba a nuestra habitación y no tiene ascensor. Pero en líneas generales si no quieres gastar mucho está genial.

A propriedade é muito bem localizada, estando no coração da cidade murada. Um deslumbramento!!!

Muy buena relación calidad/ precio. Todo muy bien totalmente recomendable. Sin duda volvería!!

Muy bonito, pero tenían que dar prioridad a las familas con niños para elegir habitación. Nos dieron la última que quedaba y tuvo que venir un chico muy amable joven a abrir las ventanas de la buhardilla porque no había manera y faltaba la respiración.
