Amazing stay. Central location meant we could pop back whenever we needed. In heart of old town. Sound proofing was very good.

The hotel is very cute and pretty. The staff was extremely helpful. They helped us booked a reservation at one of the nearby restaurants. The location is amazing as you are steps away from all the bars and pintxo places. There is a church right across the street. Our room opened to the view of the church. The church bells do ring every 15 minutes, but only starts at 8am to 11pm (or around then). The closed windows will still let the church bell sounds in, but it does do a good job blocking out all the crowd noises. My wife and I absolutely loved this hotel and San Sebastian in general!

The hotel was in an exceptional location, very clean, the breakfast was excellent, and the staff were very helpful. We had only one complaint, which was that in our terrace room the sound of the bells from the church was very loud and they would sound frequently - this may have been less noticeable from other rooms though, as we were on the top floor very close to the bells.

BEWARE! Accidentally booked the Superior Double room for 1 person, but it was 2 of us in the room. Was informed at the time of check-in that the additional person would be a EUR140 charge!!! This is because breakfast is mandatory and in order to stay at the hotel we MUST eat their breakfast. If I had booked for 2 instead of 1 person at the time of booking, it would not have been an additional EUR140.
Breakfast should be optional and additional 140 Euro charge for a simple breakfast buffet is extortionate. I agree a small charge for my mistake would have been acceptable, but 140 Euro was unreasonable.
Also - staff were very rude, unhelpful and uninformed, almost always on their phone when you ask them questions.
The church bells start at 8:00 AM and continue ringing every 15-30 mins!
Rooms are also very dark. Need some additional lighting!

Staff and hotel great but I ticked for a hotel WITH carpark but you park in public city carpark and walk 7 minutes to hotel, ok if it’s not raining. Also the room was “compact” to put it politely. Other than that it’s great.

The location of the hotel is great in the old town close to everything. Our room was nicely decorated and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful and they had the best breakfast so far!

Perfect location to explore. Great hotel - on top of restaurants, coast line/beach, shops. Rooms are a good size, very clean, Nespresso machine and safe. Double sided balcony was stunning. Staff friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again.

This hotel was a great suprise! Had room 505 (top floor I presume) with the most wonderful view!! Too bad I did not stay more days!! PLUS the breakfast was so good!!
