Hotel Best Oasis Tropical

We really enjoyed our stay at The Oasis Tropical Hotel. The rooms are lovely & all with balcony. The food for breakfast & dinner was excellent, with lots of choice & all prepared & cooked to a high standard. We loved the swimming pool area, and the bar area. The one thing we were surprised about was the attitude of some of the waitresses in the dining room. They were mostly rude. We had a waitress rolling her eyes at us, telling us to move to a different table because we were 3, and there were 4 placemats! It didn’t spoil our holiday, but it was a bit disappointing!

Their was plenty of fresh fruit available for breakfast and dinner.The freshly cooked pancakes for breakfasr were lovely. Their were also omelettes and toasties Pool area was lovely and clean with plenty of sunbeds

Plenty of choice at breakfast. Lovely spacious room snd great walk in shower. Very clean hotel.

Love this hotel, have stayed there many times over the years. It's clean, comfortable and rooms are well equipped. It offers excellent value for money. Our only criticisms are the very loud dining hall. You could almost do with ear plugs when its' full with everyone shouting. And a warning to those parking their cars there - the outside parking is quite limited, with cars squeezing in where are no spaces. Unfortunately our car was damaged in the car park, however we didn't notice until we'd left. You'd be better off parking your car elsewhere. A rather disappointing end to a lovely stay. Be prepared

Really enjoyable hotel, staff were great. Only issue we had was we had a room above the restaurant and you could hear all the chairs being dragged around during meal times, quite annoying.

Good facilities, clean a little distance from shops etc. Do not like the fact that people take sun beds in prime locations and place towels on them to prevent others using. This is a selfish issue that hotels should monitor with a time limit. Not all day!

Lovely big room

We just stayed one night, lovely room, very comfortable beds. Reception staff very helpful and professional. Hotel is very close to Marina Golf course.

Receptionist a pleasure. All staff were so friendly it was a treat. Really large bedroom with 2 full size doubles that were very comfortable. Our room overlooked the fabulous pools to the sea which is just across the road. Superb fish restaurant there. They are very happy just to serve you drinks. The food is delicious so well worth a visit. This is a family hotel for school holidays that has super things to keep the youngsters happy. Saying that we would definitely stay here again. The Buffet breakfast and dinner were fabulous. So much choice. something for everyone I’d say. This visit was sadly only 4 nights. It was €12 Taxi trip to the centre of Mojácar. Well worth a visit.

Lovely hotel. All staff were so helpful. Full of Spanish holiday makers who were having a great time! Beach opposite was huge and very clean. Bit far from main restaurants and bars of Mojacar but we drove so not a problem.

My partner and I travelled from England on the 26th July, booked a sea view room and we were placed in room 2085. Initial impressions were good. Very friendly staff and a modern reception area. Everything appeared good, a lovely view of the sea with a reasonably sized balcony. Large room and bathroom. I did notice the bathroom wasn't particularly that clean, white plastic toilet seat was a urine stained colour. In the evening I could hear everything the guests were saying in surrounding rooms. The furniture not being attached to the walls and like most hotels, they place two single beds in a double room. Any slight movement (turning position in bed) from the surrounding rooms is like an earth-quake (slightly exaggerating). No soft closing on any door, guests leaving early or arriving... be prepared to wake everyone up with nice slam of the door. These premium sea view rooms have a children's park directly in front and is used at all hours even at 11:30pm one night. Walls being made from paper, this noise adds to your frustration. I politely asked the reception to change my room, they placed me directly above at 3085, the staff are very welcoming and friendly. Unfortunately, this room suffered the EXACT same issues (including toilet seat issue). I left some litter on the side, the cleaner didn't take it. Next day, I placed rubbish (more) in a bag - same result. When they changed the bed sheets, sand or debris still remained. I won't be staying here again.

Excellent stay at the hotel,could not fault anything.

Dated decor and when it rained, much of the hotel leaked with water in corridors and in some rooms. Flakey paintwork and aircon heating not very efficient. Atleast the food hall had microwaves which were much needed over our three week stay. In need of a revamp before the summer to truly be 4Star ?

Great service and friendly staff, Didn't like the hotel car parking charges

The staff are friendly and the hotel is spacious and clean. Unfortunately the photos on the hotels.com website were a misrepresentation of the dated and dreary condition and atmosphere of this property. Unfortunately the corridors are dark and much of the hotel is reminiscent of the 90's era. I paid for full board accommodation and regretted it the moment we saw the dinner buffet. It tasted as bad as it looked and the quality of substandard dishes and ingredients was evident. Be aware that some of the facilities pictured on the website are not included in the rate, and so activity options are limited when there's not much else to do in Mojarcar in the winter months.

Enjoyed our stay but hotel could do with an upgrade to smart TVs as English speaking there was only 2 channels available to us

Large hotel with entertainment catering for predominantly Spanish customers. Breakfast time was normally busy with a mixture of the usual fare that large hotels provide.
