Great breakfast, nice coffee & overall a 5 star experience

we only had a short overnight stay in the hotel but the staff were incredibly helpful and could not do more to make the stay memorable. the room was a superior room and it was incredibly quiet with great amenities making for a good nights rest. Would recommend this hotel and would use again

The staff are absolutely amazing, every single one of them. From bubbles on arrival, advice on dinner and day trips, everyone had the biggest smile and outdid themselves to make our stay amazing. Thank you everyone!

The cleanliness was poor; there was a lot of dust in the drawers, and the sofa was very worn out. The room I stayed in also had weak water pressure.

The front desk was very helpful—they allowed us early check-in and stored our luggage after check-out. The room was clean and comfortable. The location is perfect, close to anything. An Absolute Gem in the Heart of the Gothic Quarter! My stay at Hotel La Pau was nothing short of exceptional. If you’re looking for a spot that perfectly balances the historic soul of Barcelona with modern, boutique luxury, this is it. The Location You couldn't ask for a better home base. It’s tucked away just a short stroll from La Rambla and the seafront, meaning you’re minutes from the city's energy but far enough to enjoy some peace. Being in the Gothic Quarter meant we were surrounded by stunning architecture and great local tapas spots. The Rooms & Vibes The hotel itself is a beautifully restored 19th-century building. I loved the mix of rustic exposed brickwork and chic, contemporary design. Quiet Comfort: Despite being central, the rooms are impressively soundproofed. The Little Details: My room had a super comfortable king-size bed, a Marshall speaker (a great touch!), and a rainfall shower that felt like a spa Standout Feature Rooftop Oasis: The rooftop terrace is the "secret weapon" of this hotel. It has a gorgeous plunge pool and an honesty bar — the perfect place to watch the sunset over the city after a long day of walking. Breakfast: Do not skip the breakfast! Super breakfast, beautiful hotel and rooms on a quiet street off La Rambla and sea front. However, the highlight was the staff who were all so friendly, helpful and just lovely people who made our stay. Thanks… we will be back!

Good location, about 4 minutes walk from a metro stop at the bottom Ramblas. Really lovely designed hotel. Staff were excellent and booked various tickets online for us. The flamenco evening they suggested was an excellent idea. Breakfast was buffet but with a selection of hot dishes which could be ordered. The plunge pool on the top floor is not heated so it was too cold to use. It was quite a nice chill area though, and there was an honesty bar there.

Absolutely perfect hotel. The facilities are beautiful and they’ve added the perfect finishing touches to everything. The hotel is a great location but I was a little concerned it might be loud because of that. It was absolutely silent in the rooms, so peaceful and quiet. What really sets this hotel apart though, is its staff. Everyone was so welcoming and hospitable. Specifically Valeria was amazing and helped us curate the perfect plan for exploring the city and even made reservations for us at an amazing restaurant. Also Tom was also fantastic giving us a great tour of the hotel and facilities and making sure we had everything we needed to have a perfect stay.

Excellent hotel I do wish they had allowed an earlier check in since many visitors arrive early and are then forced to wait until 3pm to check in.
