Hotel Vent de Mar

Receptionist ignored us for 11 minutes on arrival, choosing to type things first. Aircon was on hot mode only, we told them but they did nothing so we had an awful night. We left after one night and were not offered a refund. Bed and pillows were awful. Bathroom shower didn’t work.

BEWARE OF BED BUGS!!!! Upon walking into the room the heat was turned up very high. My husband and I tried to turn it down, but were unable to, so we had to leave the balcany door open to cool the room down after we were told that we were unable to run the air conditioning and that we should just shut it off. At first the room seemed very nice, but then 2 hours after we went to bed i woke up and realized that I was covered in bug bites. The bites were extremely swollen and in rows all over my arms. After i noticed it i turned on the lights and noticed that there were bed bugs crawling all over the walls. My husband and I immediately packed up all of our stuff and headed down to the lobby. We were told that we could get another room a few rooms away from the infested room. We declined and asked to be moved to another floor. The second room was bug free, but I am currently covered in dozens of itchy bites. My husband and I were told that we would receive free breakfast the next morning, but then they charged us $25 for the mediocre breakfast. It's very frustrating because the bed bugs spent hours feasting on me, yet they still made us pay for our not so good breakfast. Only stay at this hotel if you don't mind sharing your bed with bed bugs and waking up extremely itchy. It makes sense that the heat was turned up so high. I think those poorly educated people knew about them and may have thought that blasting the heat would kill them. I definitely would never stay there again

Miles away from valencia Dogs close by barking all night. Not worth the cheap rate

Had a great room. Very clean. Staff is friendly. Close to beach, cafes and restaurants

It was a good size room with a balcony and a fridge. Bottled water in the fridge could be bought. Comfortable beds, plenty of space and cupboards. Bathroom was clean but needs updating. Acces to shower over the high sided bath was awkward. A walk in shower would be a huge improvement. Access to the balcony had to be carefully negotiated. Steps and door sill. The so called solarium was in process of a big renovation and is, apparently, only available in summer. However notices in the lifts said it was open! Now covered up after my husband went up there looking for the solarium and met one of the builders! It’s about 400metres to the beach. There are restaurants and bars nearby.

The hotel was good for my needs. I wasn’t on holidays. It was close to the sea and the room had a balcony. I needed peace and tranquility and I found this in or near this hotel. I think the hotel was poor in its condition and needed desperately some TLC from carpenters, painters , etc.

Very clean. Can’t believe how comfortable my bed felt at the end of the day. Flora and Paolo at reception were super friendly and helpful. The air conditioning kept the roo Cool all day. Overall great experience

Very helpful staff. Dated décor and cleanliness an issue. Breakfast after one week became boring. I would rate the hotel as 2.5 star

La recepcionistas muy amables El cuarto muy limpio Queda bastante cerca del mar pero si quieres ir a Valencia en el trasporte público es complicado ya que no pasa frecuente y si eres de.otro pais las aplicaciones para solicitar un trasnsporte no funcionan a menos q compre una tarjeta para tu movil o celular

Beautiful hotel and we were very comfortable.

El aire acondicionado no funciona en la habitacion, la alfombra de Los pasillos esta sucia, la puerta a balcon no abre. No lo recomiendo

Wifi complicated and did not work in my room

It was a few meters away from a boardwalk. Which was great for morning walks with an ocean view

The room itself was clean and well maintained, however at noght it was very noisy somthing keep switchin on off in hallway a big motor or somthing. Also wifi hardly worked for me and my wifes wifi was ver slow almostvto slow to use. Staff were great tho

The wifi either did not connect or was so slow as to be worthless. They did allow me to leave early and gave a refund for unused nights
