Hotel YIT El Postigo

Pretty good value overall. Room was clean and comfortable. Hotel had nice walkable streets nearby. Great little town. Breakfast could use significant improvement. Really very limited selection by Spanish hotel breakfast standards — didn’t taste fresh. Zero hot foods (e.g. eggs) and only two fresh fruits. Coffee machine looked modern but made bad coffee that seemed mixed with hot chocolate.

The room too small

The Wi-Fi was great and the bed was too soft. It’s an oddly lonely property amidst the places you want to be with a minimal staff (the receptionist does check-in, check-out, manages your left luggage AND preps the breakfast buffet!). The room was longer than it was wide (be careful not to bump your head on the walls) and an itty bitty pool suitable as a birdbath. All this said, it had an ample bathroom with a walking shower and plenty of towels (that disappeared the second night).

This fabulous hotel was a highlight of our visit to Ubeda. It was well located in the historic core area, walking distance to everything! The lobby, courtyard, restaurant and rooms were modern in motif. The beds were luxurious and comfortable and quiet. We would book again!

This property is located within easy walking distance of the centre of Ubeda. Parking arrangements with public underground car park. There is disability access into and inside the hotel. Check in was easy and the staff friendly. There was a large restaurant that looked reasonable, located on the ground floor, we didn't use it due to a large fiesta in town. Lift to all floors. Nice large room double bed and shower stall. Would recommend a stay here.

Pleasant, clean and comfortable. No fridge or facility to make tea or coffee. There is a machine for drinks just off the lobby but only for use by hotel staff with added charges. Nowhere close by to get an early morning hot drink. A/c is fierce and chilly. However, inexpensive and would stay here again but would bring my kettle next time!

The common areas of the hotel are very nice. Our room needed updating. The breakfast was excellent for a small hotel.

We traveled as a family (parents with 3 boys aged between 15-22years) around Andalusia for 2 weeks and stayed in different places and we all thought that we liked the Hotel El Postigo the best. It was such a beautiful Hotel with a lovely swimming pool.

Small, very pleasant hotel. Staff friendly and attentive. Great location close to main sights. Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. A very pleasant experience.

Lovely hotel, good breakfast, nice pool. I'd not know was going to be charged ax on top of bill so higher than expected however.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful, very modern, comfortable hotel with a very helpful staff. There is only one very small item I would mention & that is that there are no mirrors in the main bedrooms. CS

Limpio, muy centrico

Dès notre arrivée, la climatisation ne fonctionne pas. Après une nuit à plus de 26 ° je me rends à la réception où l'on m'indique connaître le problème et que cela sera réparé dans l'après-midi. Finalement le soir rien n'était réglé et l'on a passé une nuit pire que la première (la température s'approchant des 30°). Le matin je retourne à la réception (qui est climatisée) ou l'on me dit que cela sera réparé dans l'après-midi. En insistant fermement : j'apprends que le deuxième étage est concerné par cette panne et qu'ils sont impuissant. J'exige soit une chambre au 1er étage (climatisé) soit un remboursement de la dernière nuit (et changer d'hôtel). Il m'a fallu batailler jusqu'à midi pour avoir une chambre. La climatisation fonctionne mais aucun réglage n'est possible, il fait si froid qu'il faut la couper régulièrement y compris la nuit. Cerise sur le gâteau : un des deux lits avait les deux draps taché de sang. Retour à la réception pour les échanger. Finalement la première chambre était en panne de climatisation dès le premier jour. Aucun geste commercial, aucune excuse pour un hôtel 3 ***

Sehr gutes Preis/Leistung Verhältnis

Hotel calificado como 4estrellas, pero realmente es como si fueran 3. Tamaño estándar de la habitación pero se escuchaban los huéspedes contiguos y los de arriba (afortunadamente no hicieron mucho ruido ). A pesar de tener la ventana cerrada, escuchábamos la calle. Limpio. Tiene un pequeño frigo, bastante apañado. Aire acondicionado controlado remotamente desde recepción, pero con la temperatura adecuada. Muy céntrico, tuvimos la suerte de aparcar gratuitamente a dos minutos del hotel Personal amable y buena comunicación previa a la entrada vía WhatsApp.

Horrible experiencia, el hotel en realidad esta correcto en todos sus aspectos pero el horario de recepción es hasta la 12:00 de la noche y fue ahí donde empezó la pesadilla. Concretamente unos clientes de una habitación de la segunda planta empezaron a hacer mucho ruido el cual duró hasta cerca de la seis de la mañana como consecuencia no pudimos dormir absolutamente nada, al no disponer del personal por las noches el hotel se convirtió en una fiesta.
