I contracted the flu that was active in the area. All of the staff including reception, house keeping and breakfast crew were amazingly helpful and supportive. After sleeping for several days, I emerged to receive greeting from all and wishes for good health. This is an amazing hotel!

The hotel is adequate for a couple of days but it is quite basic. The biggest issue for me was the fact that there’s no restaurant. Normally not a huge problem as you can dine elsewhere but … because there is no restaurant in the immediate area of the hotel - which at night I considered an unsafe area - it was a problem. In brief - the hotel is a 20 minute walk to the old town and this would not be advisable to do at night. So a taxi would be the answer.

Arrived by car. Safe area and on street parking free in the surrounding area. Quick and easy check in. Nice room, great size bed, and packing space. Bathroom was modern, clean and spacious. Breakfast was included and was reasonable but not like on those pictures. Due to COVID we couldn’t help ourselves it had to be the valets who picked our selection on to our plates. This process generated queues where social distancing couldn’t be maintained. Which lost the point of having this procedure in the first place. Two members worked hard to keep the waiting as short as possible but we sensed that some bad guidelines were given from above. Food was good but the coffee would need some serious improvement, overall great stay.

The hotel was good, so was the staff. The only drawback I found was that the water in the bathroom was a little cool. It was ok coming in from the heat outside, but in the morning, after sleeping in aircon, it was a bit too cold for me. WiFi was free as long as you didn't want to stream anything.

The staff are the asset here.😊. There was no air conditioning and the staff were very reassuring that it would be fixed within hours, not to be. It was not the staff's issue. They offered cold water and understanding words, but kept their composure with so many complaints from guests. I truly admired them. Thank God we had a window to open so at least we got air. Otherwise great hotel☺️
