Ohtels Villa Dorada

Checked in and reception desk had peeling paint and looked terrible, I feared the worst but room as good, only thing that let it down was WiFi wasnt strong enough to load an e mail, I complained but got told that was normal.so I won’t return because of that.

Lovely hotel, great entertainment gor kids and perfect size pool for the small kids. In a perfect location 10m walk to main beach and strip. Bit of a hill walk to the hotel

Good food, excellent animation team. Good selection of drinks. Pool very deep - bring a floatation device. Bar staff often quite rude.

The hotel is well priced and convenient. The deal breaker is the strong sewer smell making it very unpleasant inside the room.

Just back from a week at the Ohtels Villa Dorada. On the positive side the hotel is clean, rooms are fine and the pool area is spacious with plenty of sun loungers. On the negative - the food was poor with very limited choices for dinner, nearly always cold. The big negative for me however was the attitude and lack of interest many of the staff (not all) showed in regard to customer service. I witnessed bar staff being rude to customers, ignoring them and leaving them standing. I have stayed at many of the nearby hotels in Salou before and have never experienced this level of apathy and lack of friendliness - many of the staff seem like they would rather not be there. I will definitely NOT be going back.

Location and atmosphere at night time are great

We stayed for a week. Was a really good price for the week too. The hotel was really good. Clean always tidy. The staff were very helful at all times. After staying at a few hotels in salou this was the best hotel. I would 5 star this hotel

Hotel check in was quick and was given a room with pool view like i asked for. Disapointed as other reviews said safe was free yet I was charged 23 euros, room was nice size for 2( Me and my wife), cleaners came in everyday and generally did a good job. Bed was actually fairly comfortable and bathroom was nice.Plenty of sunbeds available around pool all day, main problem we encountered was at breakfeast, my wife is Gluten free and always likes mixed fresh fruit salad in the morning but surpirsingly this was never available unless we asked for it every morning for them to prepare some for us which we did not like having to ask for as every hotel we have ever stayed at before always has this available, also could do with more than one toaster as there was always big que.I agree with most reviews on here some of the staff in the restaurant are not very helpful and are very slow at clearing the tables. Location is on slight hill but was not really too much of a problem.

When we arrived at the hotel we were told to transfer to their sister hotel, Ohtels Villa Romana. The experience was good. We were on half board and the food was great. After 5 days of stay, we gained weight because the food was bountiful. The overall experience was good.

Room was good, lifts were old always glad to get out of them. Food good and staff ok

Female staff ok but male staff on desk rude and unhelpful. Entertainment poor.food poor.pool dirty.not enough sun beds or tables an chairs.shower leaked all over bathroom floor. Huge damp patch on bedroom wall where shower leaks. Bad smell in room from drains..

Nice and comfortable room, good location, huge selection of food. Would definitely recommend!

We stayed here in September for a week,upon arrival there was a little problem but that was on our side,this what quickly resolved and we got given the keycards to our room, the room was clean, spacious and comfortable. During our first night we thought the aircon was not working, a member of staff who seems to work at nights was unable to have a conversation in English and we ended up asking another member of staff the day after. The problem was the balcony door has to be shut in order for the aircon to work. (The technician and i had a laugh about it, he also was very helpful and polite). The bad points of the trip was that the maids come into the room eventhough we put the sign up for the room not to be cleaned early in the morning. This seemed to be a regular thing throughout the week. The restaurant was excellent, lots of varieties during the week, food tasted good. Only complaint was that on 2 of the days there seemed to be lacking a member ot staff and the members of staff seemed to rush too much in order for us to enjoy our meal. The animacio people (entertainment) was fun, although not enough variety. The staff were nice,had a lot of fun, and got on well with them. Although i pointed out some bad points, Next year we are planning on staying here again but for a big family holiday. One thing I would like to say about this hotel is that it is a good nice hotel, very well organised and apart from a couple, all members of staff were amazing.

Dos ascensores son pocos para las alojadas y con sillas de ruedas, en el bar poner vasos de plástico no es agradable

Sehr gute Speiseauswahl zum Frühstück und Abendessen. Bar ist wie eine Wartehalle ,nicht sehr einladend Wlan auf Zimmer sehr schlecht

Camera per 4 persone con due letti alla francese.bagno grande.pulizia buona anche se si potrebbe fare di meglio.Ristorante con piatti vari :paella tutti giorni cucinata al momento.comodissimi sia per la spiaggia che per il centro raggiungibili a piedi in pochi minuti .tutti i parcheggi nei dintorni sono a pagamento

El restaurante deberia variar más las comidas, por lo demas todo muy bien, recpmendable

Todo muy correcto en relación calidad/precio. Tan solo destacaria en negativo, el tiempo de espera en el check-in, aunque cabe decir que tuvieron algun que otro problema. El resto de aspectos, el buffet, la habitación, las instalaciones, etc ... todo correcto.
