Hotell Centralstation

Hotel is near central station. But, rooms are without window and with shared bathrooms . Price was basic and acconodation is basic

Very comfortable beds. No lift but there are ground floor rooms available. Good breakfast but no hot foods like bacon and eggs. There is a kitchen available to use, cook your own foodd and fridges to use. Very clean modern bathrooms. Downstairs 9 showers 7 toilets. Great location in town near train and bus terminals, restaraunts and shops.

Nice, clean and convenient for a solo traveller passing through for the day :)

I think the hotel was fantastic, it was stylish clean rooms with a very comfortable bed. There is only 2 problems that I saw and a third that I know others wont like. First, the bathroom was quite stylish and good, but the shower in there was very cramped and hard too move around in. Usually I wouldn't mind that at all, but on one of the days I stayed i had a surgery, and had to do a complete detox in the shower, which proved a bit difficult. Second, the bunk beds, it is quite smart too put a bunk bed over the double be to save room. But the number of times me and my girlfriend hit our heads on the bunk bed is almost astonishing 😅 Third is the fact that there is no windows. In my personal experience I love this, it actually made me sleep better without them. But I know that some people who has claustrophobia might have problem finding it peaceful. Other than that I think it was an amazing hotel. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to visit uppsala. Especially since it's right in the middle so you have walking distance to everything!

A very VERY basic hotel- small rooms, bunk beds, basic service. However, and long as you are not expecting much, it ticks all the boxes for a basic night stay: simple, clean, efficient, en-suite. Also, very good location- right in front of the Uppsala railway station, next to a shopping street and plenty of restaurants in the area.

Great location, easy to get around. The room was kind of cave like without windows, but there was enough room and the aircon worked perfectly so I found it comfortable.

I kept getting woken up by the sound of other people's doors shutting and the noise of people above me. Basically four nights of sleeping hell. The walls must be pretty thin. The general atmosphere is very depressing with dim lighting and no windows. The only thing good about this place is the large kitchen. Breakfast is also not included if your room is in the Hostel portion. For the same price I suggest Uppsala City Hotel. It is much quieter, a warmer vibe, and provides breakfast.

Small room housekeeping slow on response but excellent recetienist and excellent breakfast

Enjoying the trip to Uppsala staying in this hotel. Love the cleanliness of the toilet and the scrumptious breakfast. Enjoy the cool wheather and the scenery and loves the scenery and structures of old buildings.

Clean but smallest room i've ever stayed in.

Needed a good budget hotel in downtown Uppsala. Was impressed with what I found. Very small room, but was not looking for luxury. You get a feeling that you are in a cabin on a big ship. Nice bed, nice functional bathroom. Stayed in the hotel section and believe the hostel section was one floor down. Lots of families seemed to stay there. The breakfast was amazing and the hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Good fit for what I needed

For a Hostel this place was amazing, the service was great and we got upgraded to a room with a private bathroom at no additional cost. The rooms are small, but this is expected since it is a hostel. It's like a small hotel room (which I would personally prefer because you have the privacy of staying by yourself or with someone that you are traveling with as opposed to a large room with strangers). Also the the breakfast was great and free.

The room was small in size, but for the price it was great. The hotel location is perfect, close to the train station. The staff was very helpful. A great breakfast was included with the room.

good for short stays

The room was close to the railway station which made it convenient for my travels and within easy walking distance of the city's main sites. However it was little more than a windowless cell with hardly enough room to turn around. I don't know how it could accommodate 3 persons!
