Really lovely hotel. Conveniently located next to the metro with multiple connecting lines. Easy access to central station for transfer to Arlanda airport. Was a fantastic stay!

Very clean, staff friendly and bilingual. I wish they had wash clothes but we got by with hand towels. No room service was a big one for me as well as no phone in the room. Suite was big enough and the bed comfy. Great for a short term stay.

Very good breakfast, very comfortable beds. But not possible to book a parking spot, the parking belongs to a vendor. Soundproof in rooms is poor.

We had a great time at the Scandic Alvik. The family room was quiet and spotless. We enjoyed the 'relax' (Swenglish for sauna suite) and had a delicious dinner in the restaurant, taking advantage of the offer for children to eat at 50% off. The breakfasts as Scandic are always fantastic and we particularly enjoyed the bircher muesli, the ginger shots and the full English. My children are already asking if we can return there again. The only thing that wasn't great was perhaps the view from our window, overlooking a car park. However, with the shore of Lake Mälaren nearby, you can get scenery a two minute walk away.
