Hotel Arcadia Locarno, a Trademark Collection by Wyndham

Our room overlooked the Lake...Room was wonderful with a great bathroom and extremely clean.Breakfast was plentiful with so many choices.Location was perfect as the Promenade was right across the street from the Hotel.Centrally located as well. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Clean room with balcony. Unfortunately people next door smoked on their balcony which came into our room.

Nice location - easy walking to train, along lake ( both directions) and dining options Older building needing some upgrades (eg outlets for the floor lamp and coffee maker!) Lobby a bit tight, and understaffed at checkin.

Older property that seemed worn in areas, especially hallways to rooms. Breakfast buffet was plentiful, but not tasty at all.

The view of the lake from our room was amazing. We were on the 5th floor. The hotel staff was friendly (Marco at check-in was great), and the room was extremely clean! Lovely amenities with a hand written note from manager. Short walk into town, breakfast was pleasant on terrace, private parking available for 19CHF/night. Would definitely recommend and stay here again in the near future!

Excellent hotel! Clean with great staff. We had a suite facing the lake and had a wonderful view. Breakfast was included and was very good. Location was close to restaurants and walking along the waterfront was very much enjoyed. Took a bus to Aston’s and this town was very much enjoyed. Also took the lift up to Arcada for excellent views of the lake and mountains. Excellent hotel and would stay there again

The property was very family friendly with a pool, large indoor playroom and small playground. The breakfast buffet was included which was also convenient. The staff were very nice and helpful.

We absolutely loved this hotel. It's an easy pleasant walk along the lake from the station. The reception staff are multilingual and are very helpful. We chose a studio room with lake view. It was super comfortable with an amazing view of the lake. There are lots of restaurants in Locarno but we decided to include breakfast and evening meal at the time of booking. Breakfast is buffet style and offers a super range of excellent quality foods. Supper was waiter service; sometimes it's à la carte, other times an abridged menu. But regardless every dish was excellent! You will not be disappointed. The head waiter is marvellous and made each evening an enjoyable experience, he was pleased to explain the dishes to us and I noticed him doing so in several languages. His team are professional and friendly; they simply make you feel welcome, comfortable and relaxed. The garden setting for the restaurant is lovely with the lake visible through the trees and shrubs. The hotel is spacious and kept immaculately clean. There is a pool, small but perfect for a cooling dip. We didn't use the gym. It was far too warm to use the roof terrace, the view up there is fabulous. We flew in via Milan, transferred by bus to the central station and caught the train direct to Locarno. An Italian woman on our flight said Locarno is the most beautiful part of Majjiore. I can't compare but I think she may be right! If you go, we can definitely recommend the Arcadia Hotel. Isola Brissago is a must see.

Great location with beautiful view. Front desk very slow. Too much noise from dogs and children. Why not put all couples on one floor, all couples with children together. Children running and creaming ruined my vacation
