The tram to the Zurich HB is right across the street from the hotel. Less than a minute walk.

A budget hotel like that is probably not what we would pick normally, however, given our agenda in Switzerland and the cost of the country we decided to give it a go. We were both pleasantly surprised the room was comfy and clean. Breakfast was exceptional.

Zurich is a pricey city, so this is a real find.
Not a luxury or business-class hotel (for that, use the regular ibis next door), but a marvelous bargain for staying in Zurich with a quick, convenient tram connection into the city.
Nice shower and (separate) toilet, with a separate sink out in the sleeping area.

Convenient access by tram. Small room (for 3 people) but fine for what we needed, and at a good price, and very clean. Noisy outside (annoying music) if you leave the window open. We didn't use the lounge area but it looked large and modern.

Staff were brilliant and room had everything you would want for a budget option. Location was good walkable from main station. Room was just REALLY hot!! Air on didn’t really touch it. Window open was noisy so not a great night sleep.

Bed sheeting was super itchy. I spoke with Dilu and Evangelous and they did their best to help the issue. I was very itchy after laying in bed after shower. I couldn't sleep due to itchiness. The second room they moved me to had ants everywhere. I took a video of each room I was in. Not proper at all

Same breakfast everyday, no variety if you don't like eating cheese and ham for breakfast!!
Also one particular receptionist was very rude when l tried to ask about the transportation system into the city.
Also the hotel felt very industrial in scale with no green space.

The room was clean and comfortable. However one of the staff didn't really have a clue what they were doing
We (my partner and me) arrived on Friday night for two nights to check out on Sunday. The lady at the check in desk only took the city tax for one of us upon arrival which forced us to have to wait around at check out and pay the other persons (despite the fact I paid in advance and checked in for a smoother checkout)
As well as this, the same colleague who made this blunder also only activated our door card for one night so again we had to go and bother other members of staff to reactivate it because of her mistake
Aside from this, the cleanliness, location and general presentation of this ibis was good. It even has YouTube and Netflix on the TV so we had things to watch in the evenings

Check in was quick and easy an the staff were kind and helpful. Tram stop right outisde hotel. Quiet, clean and safe.
Unfortunately, for the price i expect an electric kettle and fridge in the room, our room had neither. Pillows were absolutely shocking

Shower is in the room. This needs to be much clearer and isn’t great if sharing with your teenage son! Mirror opposite the shower door. V little privacy.
