Overlooking the Rhine River, and also being right in the center of the old town made this an ideal location. The facility itself, while modernized inside, retains the charm of being a very old and classic structure. Parking was convenient and it was easy enough to unload luggage, then park about 100 meters away. Breakfast was terrific with hot meal options cooked to your desire. No elevator, so just be prepared for this.

Owner and staff were exceptional. They made us feel as if we were the only guests they had. Room was modern, very well equipped, clean and bed was very comfortable. The view is amazing, looking out over the Rhine river. Breakfast (included in rate) was delicious. There are few places during our travels we have stayed that we would return. This is one.

No elevator, but staff helped my wife carry her bags up 3 flights. Beautiful overlook of the river in our view double room and at supplied breakfast. Free car park is a short walk away.

My husband and I had the most amazing stay in the river-view suite, we had an unforgettable breathtaking sunset view. Watching the sun set over the river, painting the sky with stunning colors, while sipping a tea was the highlight of our trip! The suite was elegant, comfortable, and perfectly designed for relaxation. A special thank you to Rebekka for her outstanding service—she was warm, attentive, and went the extra mile to ensure everything was perfect. Beautiful historic hotel located right on the Rhine river and on the edge of the gorgeous old town of Stein am Rhine. The town was quaint and lovely. The room was modern and comfortable with amazing views of the river. Restaurants walkable. But the most amazing thing about this stay was the staff. So pleasant and kind. They came in special in the morning to make us breakfast and it was fantastic! I can’t wait to come back here. If you get the chance definitely stay here

Great view of the Rhein, very walkable and easy to park. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was nice. Soap and shampoo outside of shower was the only odd part, as there was no shelf in the shower. Good breakfast. Would recommend.

The property does not have an elevator and the staff is not prepared to assist with luggage. Our room was on the 3rd floor. Not ideal for heavy baggage. The restaurant had a wonderful selection for dinner and the food was tasty. We opted for breakfast to be included and we were extremely pleased with the options and quality. Our female server on the first day was attentive and very sweet. The second day of service from a male server left us missing the sweet girl from the day before. Our view was of the Rhine River and it was breathtaking. Parking is about a block away. The hotel lobby representative said they ran out of FREE parking passes so we had to download the parking app and pay for a space. The hotel is just around the corner from the town square and directly in front of the waterfront of the Rhine. The ferry is a short walk from the hotel if you want to purchase a ticket to ride down the waterway.
